Disgaea might be the deepest experience available for your DS. If IGN was stranded on an island with my DS and just one game, this would be it. There are enough game mechanics and features here to make your head spin -- more than they could get into in this review. The bottom line is this is one of the greatest strategy games ever made. You can get lost in here. The story is overflowing with humor and personality, and the artwork is beautiful.

Disgaea main characters evil? Uh...Dood, the power of love and teaching compassion is pretty much the staple of this series. These aren't evil Diablo demons. This is a series that constantly pushes coexist with creatures from all realms living the life they were born into to the best of their ability. Any "evil" from the cast is purely slapstick and nothing more.
Except for Midboss, that guy is evil. Laharl was just a 1313 year old kid with Mommy issues.
A Disgaea Hour of Darkness Remake will launch in Spring 2018.
This is my favorite out of the series. Hopefully they add something extra to the remake.
