Hard to imagine that introduction to new, unknown alien physiology from a different galaxy would not present diseases and problems that even a supercomputer of the future would need time to come up with a countermeasure and/or vaccine. In the meantime, them new fandangled alien std's gonna bite. Wouldn't be surprised if a few of them caused penises to fall clean off. Lot of suicides ahead in the ol' Andromeda galaxy.

Think you're looking too deep into it.

Scientifically speaking, the chance that alien life would be humanoid in nature and have compatible sexual organs to partake in such activities would be extremely small.

However, diseases in general would definately be a concern. Even within our own galaxy....assuming there are other habitable planets....you'd likely run into something that would kill you. Thing about simple organisms like viruses and bacteria is that they can adapt much quicker to new surroundings than the human body can, which is why walking onto a new habitable planet without a hazmat suit and going through proper decontamination afterwards is likely a death sentence.

It takes away from time that could have been put into other features or fine tuning things in the game.

Not to go all SJW here but it always puzzles me when devs choose to support something (which is great) but then add something that flies in the face of it.

We know Bioware has always been at the front on supporting diversity etc. They have had great female and minority characters. They added gay relationships etc. also. But then, amidst the argument concerning the objectification of women, they add one night stands.

I'm not against it because it's a choice that parallels real life, which is great. It's just very odd to me!
