For Honor is an excellent multiplayer fighting title held back by poor matchmaking and annoying connection issues.

Aside from the occasional network issue and the weak "campaign" mode, the game is loads of fun. After putting somewhere around 36 hours into the game (most of it in multiplayer), there have been MAYBE 10 network failures where the lobby dies and everyone loses stats for that match. Not too big of a deal for me, really. However, for people with weaker internet connections or those who do not have their consoles hardwired directly into their modems, they will have a higher rate of disconnections. A couple of friends of mine have connection issues on a regular basis, even when we try to play the co-op campaign mode.

Yeah, the biggest problem is that the game doesn't seem to select the hosts very well. I have a decent connection with all the open ports required to run this game without any issues, yet I've been disconnected due to the host losing connection MANY times. Host migration is still a pain in the b***, and For Honor doesn't deal very well with that either, as it usually kicks everyone out of the server if the host disconnects.
I think that the game is truly brilliant, but at the same time, I couldn't ignore that kind of thing (even if I personally can deal with it, I know that a lot of people may want to wait until it's fixed)
