VGM: Quantum of Solace Preview

If you've been paying attention to how the Bond series is coming along on the movie side of things, you'll notice that that is also the name of the upcoming film, which also means you're probably wary of yet another movie-licensed game (the game also includes the events from Casino Royale). Well, Treyarch has some ideas that might make you think twice about dismissing their game.

on the 64..

here to multiplayer memories

... couldn't agree more, that's why I just bought an N64 on eBay with GoldenEye. Seriously no joke!

N64, 4 games & a controller. £17
GoldenEye 007, boxed with manual. £4
Another controller. £5

Hopefully it will arrive in the next couple of days. I will be full up with nostalgia when i get it.
GoldenEye = Best FPS ever!
While I was at it, I bought Diddy Kong Racing and Space Station Silicon Valley, two brilliant games I remember playing all those years ago.

Hey is Perfect Dark on the N64 any good, I hear it's the spiritual sequel to GoldenEye as it uses the same engine?

And also does the new Quantum Of Solace have split-screen multiplayer? If it does, the Wii version would blow my socks off!

i wish..pff every 007 after that has sucked.
N64 was the best for multiscreen action.

Where Have All the Bond Games Gone?

Everyone’s been thinking about James Bond lately, with the franchise’s latest cinematic release tantalisingly close yet pushed back by the pandemic. The video games inspired by these films are a particular testament to those difficulties, considering their trajectory: an early enormous success in GoldenEye, through weakly received adaptations and original stories, to a near-decade of non-existence.

I paid a few quid for a copy and I enjoyed it.

You should try Blood Stone if you haven't already. It's going for the same price as Quantum but I reckon it's a better game all round.

I actually enjoyed the game. The scenery was really good and varied. It wasnt the best shooter ever, but it was certainly worth playing if you like the bond franchise at all. Bloodstone was good to, just different.
