IGN: 4 Elements Review

Wonderfully presented, generally addictive, and filled with good intentions, 4 Elements is a very, very happy game. That it all boils down to a series of Match 3 puzzles isn't really an issue because Playrix's version of Match 3 is so visually and practically impressive that the excellent presentation is mere icing on the cake. It's even difficult to peg an ideal demographic for the game because it'll grab the attention of adults as much as it will children. A must-have for Match 3 and puzzle addicts and anyone who's forgotten that gaming magic can be found where you least expect it.

In-depth Review: 4 Elements - Electronic Theatre

With the advent of the Nintendo 3DS, you’d be forgiven for thinking that developers would be abandoning the original Nintendo DS format. However, with an audience in excess of one hundred million, developers and publishers won’t be quite as quick to give-up on the console as the core audience, hence this latest Nintendo DS release from Mastertronic, 4 Elements. Launched just weeks prior to Nintendo’s new console, its budget price-tag and familiar Match-3 gameplay will surely earn it some fans within the huge Nintendo DS market.
