NES Classic Production to End?

Is the NES Classic being discontinued? Facing difficulty staying in stores since the day it released, it is quite possible with the imminent release of the Nintendo Switch that Nintendo may be discontinuing it.

Norwegian retailer Spillsjappa posted a statement on their Facebook page that indicates that it is happening.
