While last year’s DC Extended Universe films in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad were financial successes, audience reaction was polarizing at best and underwhelming considering the company’s ambitious plans. Meanwhile, the company’s television prospects have fared largely better, particularly on The CW where the “Arrowverse” is in full swing with Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl serving as the four highest-rated series on that network."
