Is Nudity Enough to Sell Conan Exiles?

Nudity adds realism and intrigue in games. Sure u can watch porn on the Internet but it's different when it's part of an interactive medium. LikeAGlove isn't necessarily wrong, that's what separates film from games, being actively involved in the experience rather than simply just observing. I never liked the argument "just watch porn if u want nudity in games". It's different.

It has its pros and cons. But as long as its done in a way where it is just another thing you can toy with, if you feel like it, I am fine with it. But it is not a selling point for me. May be for younger people who can't see enough T&A at that point in their lives.

Never really seen it as a selling point but rather being true to the source material. There's always been lots of nudity in the conan universe, but it's more based on the fact that back in the age this was inspired by, warriors fighting in the nude was not uncommon, hell it was the standard for spartans and gladiators. Plus it's meant for adults, who should've seen their fair share of nudity by now.

Probably? But who cares? That won't be enough to make it, or any other game a success. It may get some people's foot in the door, but they'll quickly become bored if all it offers is nudity. I kinda get the appeal though too. There is mountains of free porn online, but if you see a naked picture on facebook, you get this taboo feeling, like: "Ohhh, this isn't supposed to be here!" I think it's kind of a similar thing with video games, even though nudity is somewhat common now days in games, it's never explicit and it's always treated like it's somehow supposed to be more "tasteful" when compared to other mediums. I do feel like the novelty will wear out quick though, especially if games like this become more commonplace.

I haven't played Exiles, but the Conan stories are freaking great. Any good games based on said tales should be awesome, with a decent investment. Maybe I will pick up Exiles, and it will have nothing to do with the size of my character's (or other characters') parts.
