Dan from NerdHub Writes "Last year I wrote a preview on RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, Rooster Teeth’s first big game based on their international hit series RWBY. At the time I said it was an enjoyable little hack n’ slasher to play with friends but it was clear that a lot of work still needed to go into it, in particular fine tuning its combat and expanding on some other core mechanics. As a fan of the series I had been looking forward to playing the game since it was first announced. However after a number of playthrough’s of the hour long campaign during early access I slipped away from the game not even returning for the update fixes or added content. Now though Grimm Eclipse has finally made the jump to console on the PS4 and Xbox One. Seems like a good time then to take another stroll through the world of Remnant and see if the developers were able to fulfill everything they promised all that time ago."
The Humble Let’s Fight Bundle just launched today. It features games like Injustice 2, Absolver, Nidhogg , RWBY: Grimm Eclipse, and more.
Neil writes "RWBY: Grimm Eclipse may not have been the game that RWBY fans really wanted, but that's not to stop Rooster Teeth Games from delivering a new DLC pack. The question is - do you need the Beacon pack in your life?"
It'll be nice for those that enjoyed it, but is it really a game they should continue with?
Meh. I lost interest with the game. The game came out with so little content and the combat is just repetitive.
Josh from TVG writes "Bright colors, splendidly cell-shaded character models and quippy one-liners abound in this official Rooster Teeth Games production of RWBY Grimm Eclipse. Take up your over-powered weapons and hack and slash your way through hordes of Grimm as one of the four original characters of the hit Animated TV series, Ruby Weiss, Blake and Yang, as you plow through levels, collect experience points and crack jokes along this fun-filled and challenging adventure."
