Josh Griffiths writes: "As the name suggests, Parkitect is a theme park building game, one in a genre that up until Parkitect’s Kickstarter campaign was very much dead. The last major theme park game was RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 back in 2004, creating the perfect scenario for any potential developer. A decade later, that developer emerged in the form of Texel Raptor, bringing Parkitect to Kickstarter."
KeenGamer: "Would you like to manage your own theme parks? Thanks to these games, you can! From RollerCoaster Tycoon to Thrillville, these games allow you to run your very own theme parks, whether it's building new rides or satisfying your customers' needs. With some games, you can even jump into the park yourself and ride your own rides. Check them all out, new and old!"
Theshigen writes "Parkitect, which is a RollerCoaster Tycoon inspired tycoon theme park management game, which in my humble opinion was the closest thing to the classic RollerCoaster Tycoon is getting a free update 2 years after release that adds multiplayer."
A stylish and smart take on the beloved theme park formula, Parkitect is a winner.
I was pretty skeptical of this one at first, but it's shaping up great.
