CD Projekt has released a video dev diary for The Witcher: Versus, a completely free-of-charge web-browser game formerly known as The Witcher: DuelMail and based on The Witcher. The Witcher: Versus centers around battles between two players using one of the three completely different character classes. Players gain experience as they continue to win and this allows them to advance to higher levels of character development, along with gaining new skills and items to use in battles. The game requires only a PC with an internet connection and a web browser with Flash installed.
148apps - The Witcher: Versus might not have a storyline like its epic RPG namesake, but it's a fun, simple dueling game. It's good for short bursts of entertainment, even if it lacks depth.
TMA - The Witcher is a very well-known (at least here in Russia) series of fantasy books that have only recently begun to enjoy world-wide fame thanks to the top notch Action RPG released on the PC a few years back.
STP - The Witcher: Versus is not for everybody, and it has a host of flaws. All the same, it’s pretty enjoyable if you keep your play sessions short.
