This week, on TVEnthusiast's The Weekly Set podcast, Will and Tyson talk about Supergirl and the state of The CW's Arrow-verse, the return of Syfy's The Magicians, and another spectacular episode of FX's Taboo. First up is Supergirl, this week's episode was directed by Kevin Smith (Clerks), and even stars his daughter. The episode, titled Supergirl Lives, has a powerless Supergirl saving abducted humans from slave trading aliens. Next up is The Magicians, and we couldn't be more excited to talk about the magical land of Fillory again. The season 2 premiere of the series has an interesting dive into the character of The Beast, while Quentin and company pulls their ranks back together after being quickly decimated int he season 1 finale. Lastly is Taboo. Taboo continues to be a great series with its intimidating lead and a witchy portrayal of possible supernatural elements.
