and that s a good thing??.......is one more reason to not buy Nintendo s new gimmick......except that is an obvious mockery from Nintedno that are trying to promote Swicth as home console while covertly they want to boost their pseudo prestige mobile gaming....mobile (i dont mean portable) is the plague of normal gaming and must be fought off

I don't understand why switch is being called a gimmick on here. Are you just calling it a gimmick because it's Nintendo? Like i dont understand how being able to play games outside of my living room is a gimmick? Like...this concept has been around for a pretty long time and I don't think its going.

You seriously can not be this dense. Did he say portable was a gimmick? No. He is referring to the joycons and the motion controls, which is obvious.

Didn't know mobile gaming needed a boost?

Gaming on mobile phones has never been soo high

And this is ment to be a home console that has mobile capabilities.. Weak specs with the dumbest multiplayer solution but never the less still a home console

This one especially feels more gimmicky than anything else.
Being mobile is nice to have, but no way a needed thing.
They are getting it all wrong to push advertise it only as a hybrid. They need the games more than before.
So yes, it's gimmicky so far.

And local social gaming.

There is one key difference though, mobile games cost £0-£5 with a few exceptions, Switch games cost £40-£60. I see no reason as to why the people playing candy crush are suddenly going to go out and buy the most expensive console that isn't even a home console on the market so that they can play £60 games on the go.
