The Greatest Game Trailer Ever? Zelda: BotW Looks Stunning

Looks great but too bad I'm not gonna buy a wii u2 ahem* I mean Switch.

I don't know what the switch is trying to do. It's too weak for a home console. And too bulky and less efficient for a portable. It should have stuck to one thing and did it well, but instead it's doing 2 things half as good.

Personally I am not going to buy the swutch, because I am in no need of a home console, that is inferior and is limited and restricted because it is moonligting as a portable device. And I am in no need of a large and bulky portable device that will give me 2.5hrs battery, as I don't take the bus or plane daily (I drive). And I also have a portable device (a high powered smartphone) that does everything (game, movies, music, social media, talk/call, text, browse Web and etc.) I don't know who this system will appeal to.

They've lost touch with the gamers. They are after new audiences: the casual and mainstream (the same guys who bought the wii). They are trying to replicate what the Wii did, while (successfully) alienating and frustrating their core market. But nintendo, I'm sorry to breat it to you. That market won't buy your system.

z64 is still the best ever zelda game.
looking great means nothing..
BotW definitely looks promising, now i just hope it has long and many dungeons. The critics i can give to zelda since WW is that the series became too casual too easy.
in z64 i spent days running around with no clue where to go, i had to ask every single npc to figure out my next location and stuff..

What games do you play on your high powered smart phone? It's slightly wider but thinner than a 3DS, I'd hardly consider that bulky: https://twitter.com/DaveMil... The battery is 2.5-6 hours, they said BotW is about 3 hours of gameplay on it which for a gaming device is pretty average, I'm lucky to get 3.5 hours on my 3DS or 4 on my Vita.

Can you charge the Switch without the deck/dock? If not then it's a now buy for me for at least 2-3 years until it drops to 150-199 price range...

You can and it's USB C which makes charging it on the go super convenient.

While it looks like something I want to play, I would not say it's the best trailer ever. MGS2, Shadow of the Colossus, God of War 3, and many others were better.
