I thought it was getting 16 new tracks?
Disappointing. But at least it comes with the DLC, which I haven't played yet. Still for a so-called 'Deluxe' edition they could've done more.
This actually doesn't bother me at all. We are getting 4 new characters and an all new battle mode, in addition to the already 48 tracks that are in Mario Kart 8. They are more than likely working hard on the next Mario Kart game to come out in 2019, so adding even more here would mean that they have less material to work with for future games. And/or there is a possibility of DLC for MK8 Deluxe and essentially make this a platform style game that just updates over time.
Nintendo. Leading that charge, with the least effort possible.
