Underrated Games With Even More Underrated Soundtracks - Part Four

Phil writes, "It's a tradition here at SuperPhillip Central that every Monday five songs from various video games are shared in what we like to call SuperPhillip Central's Favorite VGMs. There is also a recurring series of articles called Most Overlooked Games that is pretty self-explanatory. Combining these two ideas comes Underrated Games With Even More Underrated Soundtracks! We ring in the new year with the fourth installment of the ongoing series, talking about the games that might not have had the sales and/or critical success that they may or may not have deserved."

Star Fox Zero is not underrated, the thing is mediocre at best due to the controls.

I remember starting out with Star Fox Zero's tutorial and going, "WTF am I supposed to do!?!"

By the end of my experience with the game, I was flying around using the TV screen, pointing the GamePad slightly to the side to shoot enemies out of my traditional line of sight, and getting all the medals in the game. Really rewarding experience, but there is a barrier of entry, for sure!

I also loved the music to the game Thomas Was Alone. Simple, but perfect for the story and setting.

I do agree on Transformers, the music was not only phenomenal but really captured the energy of the animated battles of the series during the 80's. I am very surprised that Folklore isn't on the list, a game that is overdue for a sequel.

Couldn't agree more about folklore, very underrated game. I would love a sequel for it.

I love Star Fox Zero! I had blast with that game. Third favorite in the series. 1st Star Fox 64 and 2nd Star Fox Assault.

It's a good ponder. Nintendo would be stupid to not do it. The more titles and first party line up released on the Switch 2 the more enticed the customer will be.

Glad that I absolutely can't stand subscription services.

Petebloodyonion433d ago (Edited 433d ago )

I don't recall Sony forcing you to subscribe like nobody forced you to go to Blockbuster to rent games instead of buying them.

SonyStyled433d ago

Pay-per-view was almost cheaper than the cost of gas and rental fee from Blockbuster. Blockbuster doesn’t exist today. Are you being sarcastic?
