So much shit talk about IGN. They get way too much flack on this site. I actually listen to their podcasts and the vast majority of them are very fair and want to like everything. They always make the joke that they get paid to write good reviews for games. This site is so toxic, sometimes a reviewer disagrees with you. Should it hurt your feelings? Probably not!

For example I thought Gears 4 was a pretty dull and shitty game yet everybody and their dog (save for a few reviewers) loved it. Does that piss me off? No, if anything it just makes me wonder if I hate everything (short answer: probably). Differing opinions my friends, don't be a bunch of goonies for the things you like and shut out any type of alternative opinion claiming BIAS or PAID OFF or GARBAGE REVIEW SITE.

And before everyone dislikes my comment cuz diplomacy isn't your first language, I would just like to say that I don't care and you're probably a little baby. Most likely.

Oh, so you know the magic of having a different opinion, but you hate that people disagree with IGN's way of thinking? Is being vocal a problem? Dude, you just gave away your fake demeanor.

You listen to IGN's podcasts so you support their journalism 100 percent, they joke about getting paid to write good reviews because every joke has some truth to them so good job letting that fly over your head, and you're here acting like they never have contradicted themselves.

The guys literally give Call of Duty games a pass, but bash games by stating how it's the same as the last one. Was Ghosts an 8.8? Advanced Warfare a 9.1? No, for sure it wasn't, but let's complain about how a Pokemon game designed to take place on islands has, "too much water," and let's take points off for that. Actual negative, no kidding around. 7.8 right there.

IGN really is the laughing stock of how you shouldn't review games. They just get a lot of attention because I'll give them props for the speed of reviewing a game while showing new top quality gameplay. I won't lie, they have great editing, but if you can't point out the flaws in this review like comparing a game to Dark Souls when it's not supposed to be like Dark Souls, then you don't know what you're talking about.

TBH, it didn't look like a very good game based on the trailers, I haven't even heard much praise for this game. Keeping in mind I haven't tried this game yet, although I normally like grasshopper games.

If you like Grasshopper games AND Dark Souls type of trial and error death, you'll probably like Let It Die. It really has gone unnoticed by most news outlets. But, there are already some pretty diehard fans on streams. It keeps the quirky sense of humor and combines elements of trial and error, tower defense, "dungeon" crawling, resource management, and imminent death. Plus, the F2P structure isn't horrible.

They compared this game to Dark Souls when it clearly has barely any elements to Dark Souls other then it's "dark" atmosphere.

Review becomes null at that point. Seems like the reviewer also has no idea what a rogue like is, complaining about losing your gear progress at death and tries to treat it like this is a game you paid 60 dollars for.

I think the comparison of Souls games, at least for me, is the trial and error when trying to figure out different attackers and attack styles. (which isn't necessarily unique to Souls games, but seems to always be the ones that people can relate to)
