Mekazoo is Good Mood Creators' first game, on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It aims to provide the thrills of 90s platformers like Sonic, but can its cast of animals keep you as enthralled as the spiky one? The Digital Fix heads down to the zoo with a bucket of feed, and takes a look.
Josh from Start Replay writes, "After just 5 years in operation, Seattle-based video game developer ‘the Good Mood Creators’ has unfortunately been forced to shut its doors, due to poor sales of their first title, Mekazoo."
They failed on a massive install base (PS4/Xbox1/PC). Goes to show that not all software is "guaranteed sales," when launching on popular platforms.
Sorry for everyone involved, and I hope they land on their feet.
The mechanics were excellent. They just put them into a boring aesthetic, unfortunately.
Mekazoo...Mekazoo...Mekazoo really sounds like one of those titles that’s just out there for comedic use.
