I thought it looked really good!

naruga2736d ago (Edited 2736d ago )

i was afraid of that ..a cheap ass remake from Acivision ... the game doesnt feel right at all , nowhere near the the magic of the first 4 games...shame rally shame ...excitement and hype ZEROED instantly

Aloy-Boyfriend2736d ago (Edited 2736d ago )

Glad you played it that you know already how it feels... Pre order cancelled

ninsigma2736d ago

I disagree with you there. It looked like a great remaster to me. Looks to feel very much like the originals.

naruga2736d ago (Edited 2736d ago )

@above people.... just knowing how to use Unreal 4 engine (or any other engine) doesnt men you can develop a good game...you need talent and this remake lacks talent in everything ...for me the real Crash is Knack 2 seems really genuine and well made on the steps of original Crash ...Sony probably hold off to advise Activision how to make Crash great again as it was nt their IP anymore

ApocalypseShadow2736d ago (Edited 2736d ago )

Looks fine to me naruga. As long as they keep the gameplay tight,it should be good. And since it doesnt come out until next year, they have time to work on any feedback.

I will say this though,If you were expecting Knack, or Ratchet and Clank Reboot level graphics for remasters, you were setting yourself up for failure. Look at the PS1 games, then look at the difference. Be glad they're doing it at all to all three. And not one or none at all.

But that's a major difference.

emad-E-three2736d ago

Someone is obviously mad watching all those exclusive games while he is not getting a single new game!
Enjoy your terrible day dude.

freshslicepizza2736d ago

when the game first came out it was really popular but i dont think it holds up very well today. if it's an arcade game for $20 or so sure but this should not be categorized as a aaa game.

NecoTehSergal2735d ago

You need to get your eyes checked, and your flawed sense of observation, naruga.

I thought it was going to look shit because it's Activision but it looks like a straight up remake

I'm glad...it seems it may work out

CRASH TEAM RACING and CRASH BASH NEXT PLEASE

ninsigma2736d ago

Yeah I was worried at the start but it does really look like a proper remake straight from the original. Crash team would be awesome!

Genuine-User2736d ago (Edited 2736d ago )

Yeah it looks fantastic. PS1 remaster done right.

Gazondaily2736d ago

Crash team racing was wicked!

Majin-vegeta2736d ago

Hahah I was waiting for you. Looks like your happy. I member you going off if they were to use the crappy model compared to the original

-Foxtrot2736d ago

@Majin-vegeta

It's Activision...they probably would have knowing them but I'm guessing they knew the backlash.

Not just the crappy model I thought they were going to change the levels, like new routes and enemies or new scenes turning it into a new game.

So far that doesn't seem to be the case. I guess it was easier for them just sticking to what they already had, which is a good thing.

Fkin yes!!

Good time to be a PlayStation fan

Hoffmann2736d ago

It is a good time to be a playstation fan since the mid nineties :-P

Damn, Activision surprised me. I thought we will get the 3 old Crash Bandicoot games with 60fps and bigger resolutions but these are real remakes.

Awesome!

@Utyr

Well it better be! Crash was a PlayStation mascot. I don't see how can Sony let that happen.

CornholioX2735d ago (Edited 2735d ago )

Well there was Crash Bandicoot: The wrath of Cortex on PS2 and Xbox but this game was not developed by Naughty Dog so this game was not exclusive. And i agree that Crash was a Playstation mascot. Man i love those games back on PSone. I hope this trilogy will be exclusive on Playstation. Remember the FF7 remake? It comes first on PS4 but later on other platforms too and FF7 was exclusive on Playstation.

war boy2736d ago

I love the switching from old to new hope it's a feature in the game

ninsigma2736d ago

That would be pretty cool!

Hoffmann2736d ago

2017 will be a good year for Platformers with this and Yooka

PhoenixUp2736d ago

The first title is my least favorite in the trilogy

1996 Voted as ‘Best Year in Gaming’ by UK Public

Have you ever wondered what the best year in gaming was? Well wonder no more! The British public have had their say, and voted for 1996.

Limitedtimestruggle624d ago

I have some many fond memories as a 10 year old gamer from back then! The best of times!

Dfooster624d ago

Yeah that is a good choice. Great times

Snakeeater25624d ago

Lol Nintendo 64 … talk about a shitty year for gaming

Old McGroin624d ago

The N64 was amazing at the time, how old are you, 12?

CobraKai624d ago

Mario 64, Mario Kart, WaveRace. They’re prolly too young to appreciate em. My kids love the N64.

Terry_B624d ago

No..1996 was not a good start for the N64. The system had a lousy start in comparison to the SNES, Playstation and probably even the Sega Saturn.

CobraKai624d ago

So…. Nevermind the first time Resident Evil or Tomb Raider was released, a damn near arcade perfect port of Tekken 2, Quake, Wipeout, Crash Bandicoot, Super Mario RPG, Nights, Panzer Dragoon Zwei? It’s shitty cuz the old N64 is it?

BrainSyphoned624d ago (Edited 624d ago )

More of a 97 person myself.
FF7, Symphony of the Night, Gran Turismo, Grand Theft Auto, Dynasty Warriors, Diablo, Fallout, Tomb Raider 2, Mega Man Legends, GoldenEye, Turok, Wing Commander Prophecy, Star Fox 64, Einhander, Tobal 2, Bushido Blade, Colony Wars, Ultima Online. Was a great year to start working at Funcoland.

After10Ben623d ago

You beat me to it. I loved both years, but 97 was one of my favorite years ever.

Marcello624d ago

2013 was a good year too. Dead Space 3, The Last of Us, GTA5, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Tomb Raider reboot, Bioshock Infinite, Batman: Arkham Origins, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Grid 2 & more.

Limitedtimestruggle623d ago

Dead Space 3? That game only deserves to be on rock-bottom lists. In my honest opinion.

Marcello623d ago

Its is very Marmite that game but to me it was only that love story nonsense that was bad, really bad.
