Furi Review | Xbox One UK

There's a certain exhilaration gamers feel when playing 3-D beat ‘em ups like Bayonetta, Devil May Cry, Metal Gear Rising and others. Sure, simply beating the enemies looks cool and makes you feel good, but the true dizzying high comes with skill. The perfect parries, the last-second evades, the last pixel of health comebacks; all of these and more combine to make these games special. Furi epitomises that credo to a fault. Furi isn't about memorising inputs for intricate combo strings, or even about upgrading yourself as you go. Furi gives you all the tools you need to win from fight number one and challenges you to get good or die trying.

Furi Contains The Single Most Energetic Soundtrack Ever Conceived In Gaming

Out of hundreds of hype-inducing music, Furi absolutely destroys the competition with one of the best soundtracks in gaming.

I honestly love Doom's soundtrack as well, but Furi has a way of captivating me wayyyyy more with its music.

The boss fights, the art design and the soundtrack in Furi are amazing. It's one of my favourite games from last gen (has a PS5 version too). "Underrated" is thrown around a lot but this game is definitely underrated.

It’s the reason I bought the game. The game itself is good too. But the soundtrack is superb.

So is Hotline Miami’s.

After coming to and end with Returnal I'm looking to get back into this.
In Japan they want 100 Yen to upgrade (?) from PS4 to PS5 version. Has anyone here played the PS5 version?

Not yet, but I added it for free to my library.

In Japan the upgrade costs 100 Yen. Not a lot of money but I wonder if it is worth it. Also bugs me that Japan has to pay for these. Subnautica and Crash Bandicoot 4 are the same.
