It's not about stating fact. It's about people choice. You can't keep the old thing forever, other have to move on and try something new. Now that's a fact.

SE won't do such a thing, though. There is just too much name recognition they can exploit to let Final Fantasy go.

Real question, what has made you dislike this game so much you have to go on every positive review and be snarky? Like you're obviously mad that people are enjoying it and feel the need to tell them they're "wrong" for enjoying something. It seems very sad to me that a person would have to do a thing like that to get enjoyment in their life. Like maybe you should get a hobby or something because getting mad that other people are happy isn't healthy.

The betrayal of it's original solitary mathematical constant - the turn-based battle system.
I have seen far too many changes like these to bear.
Metal Gear Solid finishing on a game which has little to no expository cutscenes and dialogue which are not tapes. This was even hailed as a positive... And noone actually said anything about it savagely ripping out a good chunk of style from the game...
Silent Hill being kicked around among western developers, each and every one misunderstanding what the series is about, it's style and substance, form and intelligence.
Devil May Cry being made into... that thing...
Resident Evil becoming a action parody of itself at first and then seemingly coming back to it's horror roots in the most pathetic and dishonorable way possible - by becoming a First-Person horror game with walking and hiding sections... As if the entire genre wasn't plagued with that enough, now even it's own landmark title could not escape it's degrading grasp...
Dead Rising 4 to come out soon and demonstrate that neither tone, mechanics or even character personality holds any real value for gaming industry...
And now Final Fantasy.
I am becoming less and less interested in gaming in general... And it saddens me to my core, because I love to play games from franchises I like, which are there for me no matter how old I get and how the drastically the world changes. Death seems much better a proposition then change... The acceptance of you becoming older and somehow less efficient, your principles less true, your execution less tried and proven to work. Like a old steam train... The powerhouse, the machine of absolutely magnificent strenght, the one that you can swear has a real beating heart behind all that metal... Oh, the glory of it, the inspiring determination and uttermost respect to the one causing it's muscles of steel work ! ...Getting switched for a new model... Even THAT is better then be completely remade into a electric monstrocity... No matter how much more efficient it is - the heart is gone, the soul is lost, yet the body lives on, serving as a nightmarish sentiment of itself...
I am unable to tolerate this anymore. This is my boiling point. I just cannot. And if you are supporting this, if you have no understanding, love or appreciation for names, their origin, their meaning and cultural, recreational and historical meaning for those who expect them to be there for them then you have no right to enjoy it. I will do everything I can for you to be unable to enjoy it.
I am very sorry, truly, I am. I never wanted any of this, to be cruel like this, but it is just one of those things that I am unable to stop, lest my belief that anything holds any real meaning or value will fade away and I myself am afraid I just might lose my sanity.

I love Easy Allies, and this is among my favorite reviews of FFXV (along with Polygon and, shockingly, Kotaku's).

I'm about 7 hours in and I'm loving it, despite the fact that it has a lot of problems. 9 seems to be a perfect score for it - too flawed to be a 10, but too damn fun and exciting to be an 8. I'm really excited to see where they end up going with XVI.

Because it was their designed choice. Like it or not, you can't do anything about it. If you were a dev, you would have to make a difficult choice.
