The Neptune Flux release continued undaunted on Steam and HB, but an official PS4 release date won’t be available until the game is through QA testing.
Neptune Flux had a lot of potential, and that potential is realized, but there just isn’t enough here to keep someone engaged with Sarah’s story.
I first heard about Neptune Flux last year when it launched on PC. The game takes you underwater to a world of strange sites and is interesting on its face. The game can be experienced in both standard and VR views.
Pure PlayStation: An open-world, deep sea game in VR is a pretty big swing for a one-man team, and Zoxide Games almost pulled it off. The repetitive missions and gameplay hold it back, but some may find that exploring the mysterious ocean floor worth the asking price.
Game has recieved a lot of medjocre reviews before its ps4 release so now I don't know how this got passed through QA testing.
It's not a question of it being poor quality - it's just that it didn't hold this particular reviewer. I played it too, and had I been the one to review It, the game would have gotten a 6/10 - Good. Different people, different opinions....
Better to have it late than broken.
