Let's hope that price is right, I think it needs to be under £300 by a decent amount
I would buy it in a heartbeat at that price!
$245?
So rounded up, about $249.99?
That matches previous rumors of the price for a basic bundle that includes the system and its dock and joy cons.
The same rumor also pegged the launch to include a Mario bundle at $299 which comes with the new 3D Mario and all the basic bundle stuff, and a Zelda bundle, which includes Breath of the Wild and the Switch Pro controller shown in the reveal alongside all the basic bundle stuff, at $340.
This rumor matching the previous one makes the former rumor a bit more credible.
price seems okay but i think it goes to show how powerful this really is, not sure is a good omen for upcoming 3rd party support, goes along the lines of what Capcom already said.
I think $300 is the magic price point. It may be a little less powerful than current gen consoles like say, the Xbox One, but if it's cramming all that power into a portable device then the price is going to reflect that.
The GPD Win runs about $300 as a mobile Windows 10 PC gaming handheld, and the switch should far exceed that device in specs. So if they can hold down that $300 price I think it's going to do well
