Jerry from BagoGames, "It is unfortunate that Mech games haven’t really taken off as much in this generation than in prior ones. Yes, we have Titanfall, but back in the day there were mountains of these games, like Zone of the Enders, MechAssault, Armored Core, Front Mission and so on. I decided to take a look at Microsoft’s foray […]
The lack of exclusives also pushed gamers to the PlayStation 4 and recently the Nintendo Switch thanks to titles such as God of War and Super Mario Odyssey. Microsoft does have a lot of incredible IPs they can revive to boost the Xbox One's exclusive library. Here are the top 5 franchises Microsoft should revive.
Not even Yookah-Laylee was as good as the first two Banjo-Kazooie games. I doubt current Rare can do a better job than Playtonic at that type of game.
Blinx the Cat could make a return. Also, I would like to see Project Gotham Racing or at least its style infused into Forza.
Perfect Dark 3rd person adventure would be pretty sweet.
On the other side of the pond, can Sony please revive Heavenly Sword?!
I miss my redheads okay?!
Wizards & Warriors.
Jet Force Gemini
Phantom Dust
Scalebound
Blue Dragon
Lost Odyssey
Those are the series I want most from MS.
While waiting for the next batch of backwards compatible games, GCP came up with a list of 10 original Xbox Games they still want to see become backwards compatible on Xbox One.
Where in the F is Spliter Cell MS!
They have at least 10 games from the og xbox/360 gen that would make excellent xb1/scarlett games. MS just dont like making sequels unless its Halo, Gears, Forza, and recently Ori/State of Decay.
JSRF
Fatal Frame 1 and 2
Splinter cell games
Silent hill 4
Gun valkyrie
Outrun 2
So many good OG xbox games
I'd be happy with the Otogi games, brute force and conflict desert storm. Maybe some full spectrum warrior too
Compared to Sony and Nintendo Microsoft doesn't have a lot of exclusive content on their Xbox One. This year Sony released exclusive games such as Horizon Zero Dawn, Nier: Automata, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, and much more. Nintendo has also had a strong year with the Nintendo Switch easily surpassing the Wii U in sales and delivering incredible games like Splatoon 2 and Super Mario Odyssey. Microsoft needs some exclusives and with 2018 almost here maybe it's time to revive some dormant ones.
“This year Sony released exclusive games such as Horizon Zero Dawn, Nier: Automata, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice.”
Only one of those games is a first party title. When comparing first party support for every manufacturer, it’s only essential to only bring up first party titles like Gravity Rush 2, Wipeout: Omega Collection, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, & Gran Turismo Sport.
I agree Crimson Skies should get another game. I'd add Blood Wake, Perfect Dark, Freelancer, Fable and Alan Wake.
I also would add Shadowrun, but go back to it being a RPG. The old one was an open world top down RPG and the best way for MS to revive it is look at what Bethesda did with Fallout and turn Shadowrun into an open world FPS, RPG. Get a company like Obsidian to help make the game and then it'll be a success.
I also would like to see MS revive old game ideas like B. C. that game had an interesting idea for a game and seeing more games like that is what MS needs to be trying.
A new Project Gotham Racing would also be a blast.
Plus working with Mistwalker NEEDS to happen again. More game like Lost Odyssey are what the Xbox brand needs more of.

Now that that's out of my system: they are reviving franchises. Offering remastered versions of IPs barely given a chance. Otherwise they seem to be operating on a games as services mentality.
