SingSing retires from Professional Gaming
WehSing “SingSing” Yuen one of the most entertaining players in the Dota 2 scene has finally decided to hang up the mouse, atleast from professional gaming.
SingSing, a renowned Dota 2 player who rose to success from his time in Cloud9 and was among the first ones who reinvented the role of Mirana and Kunkka in the professional scene. Famous for his outrageous plays, SingSing after his time in Cloud9 found it hard to bring back the international success he was used to.
Ending up in three more teams after CLoud9, SingSing’s recent tenure was with Kaipi a team who has been playing with for the past 7 months. However, even good players by his side didn’t prove to be enough for SingSing to re-enter the Tier 1 ladder. Kaipi was recently competing for a spot at the Boston Major through the Americas Open qualifier. However, the team failed to earn a spot after being defeated by Elements Gaming in the Open Qualifier finals.
Poor Performances seems to be the driving factor which lead the 25 year-old to make a quick and abrupt decision to leave his team and professional gaming for good.
