Desierto Review – Forbes
Forbes: Desierto is a lean and brutally efficient piece of horror filmmaking. Oh sure, it’s not about ghosts and goblins, but it is a relentless chase picture that plays like a frighteningly plausible real-world version of The Terminator. And if I’m allowed to call that James Cameron masterpiece a horror movie, then I’m darn well doing the same to entice Halloween-friendly audiences to check out Jonás Cuarón’s mostly successful genre exercise. This is a primal and nasty piece of pulp fiction.
