Ten Years Later: Code Geass Anime Series

At some point in the process of reflecting upon a decade-old anime series, I always bring up the current North American availability, even if there is none. For Code Geass, though, it seems most appropriate to start out with that, as Funimation has embraced the tenth anniversary celebrations so much in 2016 that I find myself writing this piece I signed up for nearly a year ago while my copy of the long-awaited Blu-ray release of the series is in transit to me. As others start to receive their copies, the current topic on the forums has become the filler box getting damaged as a result of not being included in the actual set, but it’s still infinitely exciting to finally be getting this series on Blu-ray after ten years.
