The biggest problem is the game is hard and buggy and the multiplayer you are the same charakter all the Way in a 20-30min in the match . Why cant i change charakter in the multiplayer match its the most dumb boring shitty things to do.

Funniest game i played this year. And the one i spent more time on it. Nowadays players are the problem. And it's not even a problem, because i don't want them :) Go play overwatch, there are plenty of 'gamers' xD

Nothing wrong with Battleborn. There is zero comparison with Overwatch other than character archetypes. The look, the play, the decision making that goes into each match pre and post game is simply mechanics that are not present in Overwatch.
Gearbox didn't spend millions of dollars developing Battleborn because they thought it was a niche thing? They believed in their product and still do. This is why they are debunking the whole Free 2 Play theory.
But when you have gamers that make snap decisions and base their buying on how much tey love any particular company or platform or better yet, when they feel peer pressure well they get lead to all kinds of interesting places.
Play the game, make up your mind and remember to have fun.

I don't understand what this article wants. It's vague and just speaks generically, asking for 'more focus' but then criticises the game as if it has something fundamentally wrong with it. It doesn't read like the authors have spent much time with the game.

Personally I think Battleborn's enjoyable. I think it would benefit from a little polish here and there, indeed it doesn't meet the standards that have since been defined by Blizzard in regards to technical performance and overall polish. However it's unique, and an incredibly enjoyable game. In the free to play space I think it does enough to stand out, especially on console. I think it's as good as if not better than its free to play counterparts like Paragon, Warframe and Smite.

It will depend on what they offer with their free to play model of course, but out of the box with the fully fledged campaign and variety of modes it certainly offers more content to play than Smite and Paragon. Smite of course has more Heroes, but Battleborn's hereos offer much more flexibility with the helix system.

It at least deserved them moving it to a solo-able option post server shut-down, IMHO.

Agreed, that would have been the fair and decent thing to do.

Battleborn is Dead - The Need for Game Preservation in the Next Generation

William writes: "Battleborn was not the game I wanted it to be, it probably wasn't the game a number of you reading wanted it to be. But what it undeniably was was a game that a team of hundreds of people poured their hearts and souls into."

Game preservation is important.
Single-player campaign should always be offline. So that some part(s) of a certain game still lives through and can be enjoyed later.

Always Online games will always end up like this at some point. Offline SP campaign should ALWAYS be included.

Thinking that games ( and in particular this one ) will forever be lost, it makes me sad.

One of the funnier game i played with my friends. I like that one of the reason it failed is that it had many reviews like the one you did; criticizing the gameplay because it's 'too complex': because it had a skill tree and because there was different classes... My personal analysis of its failure is beacause of the Blizzard PR team: they saw a threat in it , and decided to kill it by paying professional reviews and counting on their fanboys to bash it and create a fake 'comparaison war' with it. The saddest thing is that this game will disappear forever. It casts, as others in the same situtation, a dark shadow on the future of video gaming. Hopefully there are and still will be 'pirates' to save and archive these for the future generations, that i hope will someday realize that consumerism is not the only solution.
