Mat Piscatella from The NPD Group revealed the Top 10 games by dollar sales on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One until October 6th. He also said Spider-Man will soon enter the chart on PlayStation 4.
On PS4 I only have God of War, I wouldn't spend money on any of the other games on the list.
No one asked you to. Little tip, no one gives a shit what you spend your money on.
You're not that important.
If you were a star in the 60's some people might care, but you're just, well, you're you.
I'm obviously important enough for you to be upset that I don't care about some game that you like. You really should learn not to care about what other people do or say, you'll be much happier in life.
@Strafe
That awkward moment when you care enough to try to actively convince people you don't care.
Lmao you got downvoted 5 times just for acknowledging what you own, some people really are a special kind of stupid
Interesting. Currently each console only has 1 exclusive in the top 10, GOW and Halo 5. the rest of the games are multi plats.
it means that those multiplat multiplayer games are consistently the top sellers
Well we already know that God of War and Spiderman are the highest sellers on PS4. But regardless, the fact that multiplats sell more doesnt take away anything from the importance of exclusives (in case that is what you are implying), otherwise we would all be playing candycrush, exclusives are still what differentiates consoles, as evident from the sales of consoles themselves.
Ps: this is U.S. sales only.
S2killinit
No one is down playing exclusives. However what I have seen on this site is the undervaluing of multiplants.
Kirb, you already own the console that does not care about making good games or exclusives.. so what are trying to push with this repetitive topic of yours?
The majority of gamers have chosen something that offers more.. no reason to drag down another console to the lower level of Xbox..,
One defines gaming on a commercialism level, the other defines itself by games.
"The majority of gamers have chosen something that offers more.."
More? Looks like more of the same, as both consoles the majority of gamers on each are giving money to the same games, GTA V and CoD.
"...so what are trying to push with this repetitive topic of yours? "
I believe he's hammering home the topic he's been trying to get across for a while now but others just refuse to listen. And that's the topic of MP games being more popular for today's gaming. Also how everyone here screams "exclusives!" and yet the games making the most money are multiplatform.
Do exclusives matter still, sure. But it's time to start looking at a bigger picture than just people screaming exclusive and nothing else afterwards.
@ gangsta_red: and the games that sell systems are often exclusives. If they didn't matter, then why is the Xbox One being outsold 2:1 by the PS4, even though they have the most powerful system right now? Can anyone explain that?
@gamgsta
No.. it is about what creates sales.
Like I stated, it is fact of history now, the Xbox started its decline 4 years before last gen ended due to its offerings and the repetitiveness of the titles offered.
One becomes the market leader because of not only offering third party games, but also offering titles that are not the same ol third party games.
My point, of which a certain group will ignore, that a larger install exists because of more and unique offerings.
Or are you trying to say that one or two third party games with great sales are the only games to focus on?
Horizon sold number equivalent or more than third party games on average..
God of war, uncharted, etc have all put up numbers that compete withthird party games.
Tomb raider was a third party game and the three games cominded on pc and consoles did not swell as many as uncharted did this gen.
Do you really think your selective argument outweighs facts?
Who yells "exclusives" because they are thinking about how much money they make for the console? Sales are a result of a successful game. They are not the reason for buying or being excited for exclusives.
@nyxus
"..and the games that sell systems are often exclusives"
Right from the launch the PS4 was selling better than the Xbox. The PS4 exclusives didn't really kick in until years later so it's not really the exclusives that sell consoles especially when we all know the absolutely horrid and infamous launch Xbox One had.
And again, I didn't say exclusives didn't matter.
@rude-ro
"Do you really think your selective argument outweighs facts?"
Selective? The facts are right there in this article. Where's Horizon? Where's the other Sony exclusives besides God of War and maybe Spider-Man down the line.
I never said Horizon didn't do well (or any exclusive ) or wasn't successful but the games on this list tell a different story than what most here constantly preach.
GTA V going strong and CoD is just killing it on both systems.
No wonder the latest CoD went MP only.
That may be so, but exclusives have proven to be extremely important. God of War and Spider-Man have had a huge impact on Sony's success this year. But you probably know that.
It’s interesting to see that 9 out of the top 10 games on both consoles are MP centric games tho. Almost as if MP games have a bigger impact then SP games this gen....Definitely exclusives help sell a console, but more and more, it’s the big multi platform games that typically sell more and appeal to more. RDR2 is about to jump on to both of these lists as well
@ Kribwalker: and at the same time, we've seen single player games break several records recently. Look at God of War and Spider-Man for two examples from just this year.
@Kribwalker The thing is that Single Player games still have huge impact for gaming industry. I know Red Dead Redemption 2 will have online mode in couple months, but right now the game is selling faster than ever even the game have SP mode. God of War and Spider Man have pushed PS4 units even furthe thank to exclusive, not just third party support.
Yup. God of War and soon Spider-Man sold better than Halo 5 in US (and worldwide) where PS4 has tiny lead. Looks like Halo isn't juggernaut once was.
False this is top 10 for each console 8th on Xbox can have higher sells than 7th on ps. Proof? Cod AW sold more on Xbox than it did on PS4 yet it's lower on Xbox ones list than it is on ps4.
https://www.google.com/amp/...
Lol you're claiming something thats.not even top 10 on PS4 will outsell. halo hold your horses cowboy. Let it happen before you make yourself look dumb (something impossible for you cause you do it on the daily lol) imagine if halo had ps4s install base
Most likely they did outsell halo otherwise amS would have published its sales numbers like Sony does. So im pretty sure Halo was outsold. But its not a suprise, Halo clearly isnt the game it once was.
This industry is dominated by casuals. Of course those same multiplats of last get are still dominating this one, and will dominate the next. This still does not devalue exclusives in any way. They are still selling well and Sony neither MS should stop making them just because most casuals don’t buy them. And I am sure as hell this doesn’t make exclusives less important mind you
*40 million but that's neither here or there lol
Xbox's botched reveal and launch most likely
@chief
Actually, 50 would be about right. Unless you can somehow show that the Xbox One has sold 46 million, AMD’s latest report puts it at 36 million.
Chief how do explain ps3 catching up to 360 with a year head start? Sony botched that launch but still erased the year long head start by the end. Forget rrod extra sales, even without accounting for those they ended in a dead heat.
If not the exclusives then what? Sony hasnt had the power and price advantage any gen except base ps4 vs base
@behindtherows
That report you are quoting also has the PS4 at 99 million (the article was written in april and sony just announced 86 million shipped). It also has the xbox 360 at 88.71 million consoles sold, putting it ahead of the ps3.
There also this nugget “Disclosure. This report was commissioned by AMD, however, the opinions, analysis, data, and copyright are those of the author.” meaning that he derived the numbers himself, and the numbers he is reporting for the xbox one are estimates.
If you look at his reported numbers, they are (other than this year) exactly what Sony reported as shipped consoles at the end of the year. Where as xbox’s numbers for the first 2 years are what MS had reported shipped, but after that point it’s strictly estimates (the xbox one for example is up in sales this year by 15+% yet his numbers have it selling less then last year)
it states right off the bat that the stats are those of the author, and not AMD, I do believe the numbers aren’t that far off, (Stastista has it estimated at 36.2 million at the end of 2017) https://www.statista.com/st... that would be a 4 million difference between the two estimates, and i believe it’s in that 36-40 million range, but that article was not AMDs shipped numbers.
here is a direct link to the whole article
https://www.jonpeddie.com/i...
You would expect the oldest of games to have the most sales... the fact there are games released this year on that list is amazing.
This means very little, as the relevance of NPD is dwindling. Sony sells almost 2 to 1 throughout EU/the rest of the world. Europe is PlayStation's focus now. They've been selling better in Europe than in North America for years now. I
I wouldnt say NPD is less important as its still the largest single market, but the world is much much larger than north america.
It means a lot. These are the games that are making the most money, in the biggest market in the world. You go elsewhere and every FIFA game will also be on that list as it is consistently one of the top selling games every year.
It shows that despite exclusives helping to move consoles, the biggest games of the generation are multiplayer based multi platform games, contrary to a believe that gets thrown around here.
Multiple things you seem to ignore. 1 dollar sales mean based on money made. CoD is a game that outsells everything and on top of it has a season pass at like $40. So it's like a $100 game in comparison to $60 exclusive releases. Next, GoW is on the list despite the rest of the games on the list making serious money off micro transactions or DLC. That says alot for the state of Exclusives. Spiderman is about to be on the list witha season pass to be fair but it's likely why it's getting on so fast. Sony exclusives never force anything extra down your throat and usually release big DLC like a standalone most times. Multiplats aren't consistently the top sellers. A brand is consistently a top seller. The worse CoD games are still sellers. When Exclusives can make the list. Especially single player games. That means Exclusives have serious weight. These are all Mulitplayer games that rely on money outside of sales to boost profits on top of physical sales
it sold 5 million copies in the first 3 months, and has continued to sell since then. I’d imagine that would be profitable
I put about 250+ hours into it and probably like a 100 bucks on gold packs lol I'm glad Halo still has a presence
"Reuters UK estimated that Halo 3 may have sold up to 5.2 million copies worldwide in the first two weeks after launch."
A Lime123 has popped up again been sending me shed load of messages telling me about all the scores of the ps4 exclusives and told me not one xbox one game has been better. Funny how this list is showing on 1 exclusive in both lists for each console even though the ps4 has soooooooo many exclusives.
Anyway back on topic and tbh I expected nothing more than to see most of these games on this list as at the end of the day this market is flooded by causal gamers who like the same type of game GTA. Cod, bf ect and this list is made up of that.
I don't think there was any doubt there. However, it's not the juggernaut it once was.
That's pretty apparent sadly. That's not to say it can't still push units or be that megahits once again. Definitely going to have to change things up to get there
My last paycheck was $2500 for working 12 hours a week online. My sisters friend has been averaging 8k for months now and she works about 30 hours a week. I can't believe how easy it was once I tried it out. The potential with this is endless. This is what I do......
http://tiny.cc/9ygp0y
Interesting. Rumor has it xbox games generate alot of $$, so it would be interesting to see a list of games that have generated the most revenue. I'm sure minecraft is still pulling in plenty of $$
Did you see how much money it made? It was surprising wtf is buying those gold packs lol. I don't get why ppl.wasted their money on them. No one they're gonna get rid of mt now. They said they won't be doing those for the next game but they're definitely gonna have something. Instead of random stuff you'll know what you're getting probably
Those packs were addicting af lol. The way they had such a wide variety of weapons and armor for warzone I sincerely hope it stays in Infinite
Is that why the system that hasn't been delivering a consistent library of exclusives has been demolished by the competition this gen?
Also:
"Sony had already lifted its forecast for the division in July thanks to PS4 exclusive God of War, which in April sold a record 3.1 million copies during its first three days. Last month’s Spider-Man, also a PS4 exclusive, topped that with 3.3 million copies over an equal period of time, resulting in back-to-back outlook upgrades."
https://www.bloomberg.com/n...
PS is going to outsell Xbox with or without exclusives every gen. Exclusives are just one part of the equation. Not the most important or the least important.
These xbox fanboys have no logic. If exclusives don’t matter why is MS buying studios? How can a list of mainstream games make exclusives less important? 🤦🏼♂️
He’ll be back in the next article clamoring about MS doing so good buying these studios. He’s an idiot, he has no logic.
No,no not at all.... Microsoft needs someone to make those mobile games for Phones and tablets.
Ahh yes because games not being in the top ten means no one bought them. I guess people only buy Tv's to watch the top ten shows or people subscribe to Spotify only for the top ten songs. Great logic.
They matter it's just not the end all be all. Not everyone buy consoles for 1 specific thing or reason. Hell you can say that about everything in life. You cant go hey we have exclusives.so.f everything else. Otherwise you get Wii u(bombed), PS3(huge loss and step down compared to ps2), Xbox one at launch(basically threw away 20 million consoles for its lifetime) You gotta get the games exclusive and 3rd party, the price right, quality, marketing.
What? Of course they matter. They aren't the end all be all though. They help to push a brand. Saying exclusives dont matter is like saying that graphics dont matter
Halo 5 is still going strong and it released in 2015. This is why for the first time we have not got a new Halo game with in 3 years of the previous release.
Halo Infinite take your time.
XOXOXO
An article from 2015 and here we are in 2018 with a report showing the game being one of the top sellers.
Now thats what I call reaching.
The same replies from the same posters that float this site 24 / 7 clicking on every article. How do you all do it? /SMH
XoXoXo
Halo 5 made a crap ton of money they're in no rush.
Ignore lime he's the biggest troll I've met on here. We all know for a fact halo 5 outsold a couple of those halo games on that list.
Presented data is similar to last gen’s, 3rd party games generally dominate sales and player attachment (with Nintendo platforms being an exception).
Xbox tend to attract the hardcore and shooter crowd, while ps tend to get the casual, sports player and fps crowd
They share 8/10 top 10 games lol wtf difference is an exclusive and a sports game
Ya, the dew and Doritos, stay up all night grinding, reach Max tank first crowd
Uh....PS tends to attract casual and hardcore alike. That is one of the reasons why it continues to outsell Xbox constantly.
PS attend to hardcore, casual and core gamers as well. Even Microsoft want to gain more casual gamer as well, not just hardcore.
Nah xbox tends to attract pretty much xbox fanboys and thats about it and why xbone is waaaaay behind currently. Yeah hardcore fanatx lol.
Pretty amazing that God of War and Spider-man are going to make that list in their first year. And most of those multiplats have been on the market longer. Actually, looking at the list more, God of War and Spider-man are (or will be) the ONLY games on those lists that were launched in 2018.
Surprised to see uncharted not make it. Gow is the undisputed face of PS
I heard that U4 was later heavily bundled and bundles aren't included here. I'm more surprised there isn't Gears of War 4. Last gen was juggernaut and now it can't break Top 10.
COD is like iPhone no matter how crappy the product is and how bs it's priced it's still gonna sell
Oh great. Let's associate two entirely different things just because you don't like either. Yeah....that is intelligent. /s
Lol iPhone user. Has nothing to do with not liking it. Cod cuts the story, milks dlc still sells. iPhone average specs and performance, most expensive, still sells. It's reached a point no matter what they're gonna sell a boat load.
I've used iPhone and Android over the years. I like them both for different reasons. Thing is that has nothing to do with video games.
Go here: https://techspy.com/
There you can troll iPhones users all you want. If I ever go there myself, I'll post an apology for sending your idiotic ramblings to them.
Interesting that each platform currently only has one exclusive in their respective lists.
This would be impressive if only sales were a good metric of game quality. For me, nothing has dethroned Nier, Witcher 3, Doom, Nioh, and Persona 5 this gen followed up by Yakuza 0, Bloodborne, Hollow Knight, Spiderman and Rocket League.
Congrats to Halo 5. That goes to show you how powerful MP is. No way the game sells that much off SP alone.
Is nba2k not popular on Xbox? Also this looks to explain why destiny 2 was on ps plus back in September.
I think instead of trying to minimize the importance of exclusives on the chart by talking numbers, we should be talking about what exclusives are on there. It seems to tell more of how the importance of these games have shifted over the years for gamers with one company in one direction and for gamers with the other company in another. Basically what I'm saying is we talking 2018 games vs 2015.
James writes - "As the month of April passes by, we prepare to say goodbye to a selection of titles currently available in the Xbox Game Pass library. Want to know which ones will be leaving the subscription at the end of the month?"
The following games listed below are set to leave Xbox Game Pass on April 30th:
WWE 2K17 – Xbox One
NBA 2K17 – Xbox One
Lumo – Xbox One
I didnt know games leave the service. How many games are on there at any time brw?
and this is problem with the service right there. It is more akin to demo/trial service but you have to pay for it.
It's essentially Netflix but for games and when you subscribe you already know that. Things come and go and come again on Netflix all the time, same with Amazon, and Hulu. No one said if you pay ten bucks you get to keep all these games.
“Still a crap model for games...”
If you don’t like this service you can always buy the game outright. Having choices is a good thing.
Wow! I’ll say it again. Ahem. Crap model for games. Since when is this a choice that matters? Microsoft WANTS to get rid of any and all purchasing of games. They want it to be on a GaaS model. The future is a paid for digital service in the eyes of Xbox...I’m against that permanently...but I’m a bigot so whatever...throw names for the hell of it
@Liam
Your argument holds no weight because you still have the option to purchase the game. And if someone wants to buy these 3 games to keep playing them, they can do so and even get a discount for it if they buy before the 30th.
GamePass has given me the opportunity to play some games that I previously didn't because I never wanted to buy them. Like Super Luckys Tale. Turns out my daughter loves it and it's actually a pretty decent game to where if it leaves GamePass soon I may just buy it for her.
Right. It's much like a rental service, with each game getting a limited time at the subscribers' disposal, and only while they keep re-upping to the service. Not my cup of tea. I want to own my games outright. But I can definitely understand the appeal.
Which is too bad, I really think games should stay on there for the price. That would make it a world class service if you ask me
Do you have the same problem with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Spotify, etc? EVERY subscription service, which provides access to digital media, rotates the titles in their catalog.
Do you really expect the publishers to keep their game available forever? That's not how it works.
i dont, but it also doesnt take 60+ hours to finish a movie on Netflix, or listen to an album on Spotify.
Gamepass is a feature that is very good for alot of gamers, only issue i'll truly have is when they/if they release a game exclusively on that service
@Golby
"it also doesn't take 60+ hours to finish a movie on Netflix"
It does if you watch a TV series with multiple seasons. I don't hear people complaining when those lengthy programs are removed from their streaming service. Also, a 60+ hour game is the exception. The majority of games are not even close to that length.
Many of the people who are protesting against the existence of Game Pass are just looking for a reason to hate it. It's $10 per month (or free if you use Bing points) for over 100 games. That is a steal.
@x_xavier_x
But on the flip side netflix removes stuff that is barley watched with alot of good quality stuff added, as probably the other's you mention. The problem i see is how MS is trying to be netflix of gaming and could try to possibly go all digital, just as they tried the beginning of this generation. I want a physical copy in my hand. Just the same as my movies. If my internet goes out, i can still play my games and watch my movies.
Sure this is a decent additional service right now. But as more people pile onto the digital train just means more control for the companies.
@Gaming_1st
I believe that the removal of titles from services such as Netflix depends more on licensing contacts than it does on overall viewership. But even certain titles ARE removed due to lack of an audience, who's to say that MS won't follow the same business model?
I can't argue with another persons preference for physical media. Some people find value in the tangible while others see the benefits of a digital library. I will say that the older I get the less interest I have in collecting anything, so I tend to lean more heavily into the digital realm as time goes by.
I do think the internet reliability issue, which you mentioned, is a bit overblown. I've been at the same residence for over 10 years and in that time the internet has briefly gone out 2-3 times during that period. It never went out in the 3 years I was at my prior residence. Obviously, your experience may differ but I can only comment from my point of view. I feel that internet outages are sort of a false rationalization used by those that condone digital libraries.
I do realize that some people have a deep seated dread of an all digital future and I can understand their skepticism, especially in regard to trusting companies with your media. But I still feel that services such as Game Pass are a great value and are likely to flourish in the next few years. I'm willing to bet that in a decade or so we'll look back and say "remember when you had to put the game disc in the machine?".
"Do you have the same problem with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Prime, Spotify, etc? EVERY subscription service, which provides access to digital media, rotates the titles in their catalog. "
I do, which is why I don't subscribe to those services. I want something I can play at any time, on MY time; not theirs. Your statement right there is a big reason why I prefer physical (or digital, within reason) over a streaming service; because all it takes is for the majority to stop playing something and it's rotated out to maybe come back later.
They add more games than they remove. You get 20% off if you want to buy any of the games for keeps.
So you're put in a position to spend more money for the game on top of the subscription you're already paying for before the game is gone?
Offroad yes and no. You are paying for a subscription just like Netflix where tv shows and movies get added and removed but the advantage is that if you decided you want to own the game you can buy it and get 20% off the store price so it also let's you try the game 1st and if you like it you can buy the game to play no matter what just like in ea access volt.
@solderman
It's a great service. You get the games for a very long time and games are constantly being added.
A demo/trial gives you a level or an hour or two, game pass gives you months. If you can't see the value in it then you're either not a fan of xbox and think anything that ms does is wrong, you've never traded in a game after a couple months or after you've beaten it, or you're just daft. I'm going to guess the first and last statement. It's a rental service like Netflix, hulu, spotify, crackle, red box, etc....
The service agreement clearly states that the games will be rotated. If you don't understand that statement than maybe you and those like you should gossip back to school
Well said, I'm pro Sony but see the benefits of options in gaas/game pass/ps now, buying used or new etc. There just options and it's great for say a mum and dad who can't always afford games for there child, I think it's £7.99 per month here in the UK.
Although I can see where gamers may see this going regarding the future of the industry. I for one have been digital only since ps4 launch but I understand where it could end up regarding physical copies. Onwards and upwards I say, the future may be different, but 40yrs from now gamers will be asking grandad what was physical copies like.
It's not like you can only play it for a week and then they take it away. I rarely spend more than a week playing a game anyway, which is what I love about Game Pass. When I'm done playing, I got a huge selection of other games I can play at no additional cost. So if the game sucks, no biggie. Just grab another.
I want to get this but if I don't finish a game before it leaves will I have to buy it?
Yes, I've done with gears of war 4 and rise of the tomb raider.. And super lucky's take as really enjoyed that. The game pass seems quite hollow for now, so dipping in for a month now and again is quite good.
@BadElf
I actually found Lucky to be far better than the reviews led me to believe. On the X it runs at 60fps too, looks and feels great.
Really enjoyed it, although there were some annoyances with certain sections. (unfair deaths in my opinion due to camera/point of view problems)
I reckon a sequel could really come good if they take on board some of the points raised!
i actually enjoyed super lucky's tale as well. not sure what review scores it got but it gets a good 6.5 from me
Yeah, that is the complete concept... Holy crap do people not get that? You are literally "renting" all the available games for $10/month. If you stop paying you don't get the games anymore.
It is exactly like a rental service.
“You're just now realizing that? Lol“
Yea so if you start playing a game and they remove it the next day? You’re pretty much screwed right? Sounds like a great service.
This isn’t like Netflix where you watch and a movie and it’s over. Games take much much longer to complete in some cases.
@Dark
Except that these games usually come with a contract to be on GamePass for longer than... a day.
I mean These games have been on the service since February 1st. 2 months is long enough to fully dive into ANY game.
When they said they wanted to create an Netflix like service that was your first clue. Or did you think you got to keep all the movies and TV shows on Netflix as well?
“When they said they wanted to create an Netflix like service that was your first clue. Or did you think you got to keep all the movies and TV shows on Netflix as well?“
This is a dumb comparison. You can finish a movie in less than 2 hours. Games can take much much longer.
Say you just start playing a game and they remove it the next day or so? Well you’re screwed.
This Netflix comparison needs to stop. Games and movies are not the same.
@dark
And what if you start a show series and Netflix removes it the next day? Oh no, thats your fault for not watching it on release
These 3 games have been on the service for 2 months. That's plenty long enough to play all 3 of those. And if you really love one you always have the opportunity to buy the game with 20% off... something not even Netflix offers.
@darkVoyager
They have never had a game only available for a day or two. Just like this post shows, they anounce when games will leave. The Netflix comparison is fine, it’s your ignorance that needs fixing
This was well known games would come and go. They can't just leave every game on there due to licensing issues. It's the same with Netflix and other similar services.
Game pass is no different to a rental service tbh, apart from its quicker not having to wait for a disc in the post.
I use boomerang rentals here in the UK and it's anywhere from £4.99/£14.99 depending on your package. You also get a free month every 6mths or so for gaining credits plus cheaper discounts on games/used.
My point is game pass is nice but why is every saying its like the nxt coming of christ. These rental type services have been around for ages. (granted disc in post)
This news is the only way this console is gonna ever stay relevant, if eck bock just wants to go all digital why not just go all in.
It's kinda stupid of them to removed ANY games right away. It's not even 6 months and the game pass just launched. I guess even the licensing fees for those old third party games are pretty expensive even for Microsoft's budget. Imagined the licensing fees for those newer third party AAA games, it's probably never going to happen. Microsoft are already showing weaknesses and disadvantages of their gaming service.
I hate that model, where games/movies are available for limited periods... Netflix or anywhere. Just aggravating, better than NOT having the content, but c'mon.
This is a good year for all basketball fans. We’re about to receive two great games. After one year of absence EA Sports will bring us back NBA Live and of course 2K will also come back with NBA 2K18 which gameplay trailer has been recently released.
Let’s compare it to previous edition of the game and see how much the game graphics has been changed.
As long platform running 2K18 edition has not been confirmed please be aware that 2K17 was recorded on PS4 Pro.
uhm, 2k18 looks worst or am I bugging?? lOl I mean some areas look better but the lighting/tats/details look worse...
the players look fine but it's the arena and court details that make a difference.
I been playing live 18' this whole weekend, i'm switching over, that bit is better than 2k... it's like everything 2k been trying to do with little to no lag. YES i will be giving up the "My Park" but they have a "My Park Like" Mode on there, that will result in me not waiting 30 minutes to run a game of 3v3.
If yall haven't try out the FREE live 18' demo, it's definitely a step in the right direction. I was a little biased on the first game, "Pro Am game to 21" but after going into "THE RISE" campaign/career mode, I realized how much 2k was lacking, the gameplay, animations and story is already better and i'm just 6 chapters in.
Now that's what I'm talking about! Bring back NFL2K!!! Man, the NFL needs to get its act together, I haven't purchased an NFL game in 13 years and don't plan on doing so until Visual Concepts are allowed to come back to the grid iron.🤗
This game is too grindy. It will take me years to unlock all of those.
really why it takes so long, like who really wants to play for 30 nba seasons
