"With Konami seemingly abandoning games, is the latest “Pro Evolution Soccer 2017” iteration just an attempt to try and wring some final cash out of the series, or a genuine attempt to rediscover past glories after some real improvements in recent years?
Despite FIFA adding a ‘story’ mode to their latest iteration, Konami have chosen to tinker very little with their ‘Be a Pro’ mode, with small press clippings and the like between matches. Of the three major single-player modes, it’s always been the neglected child wedged between MyTeam and Master League, and it’s something that clearly needs some more attention next year for PES to compete on all fronts."
