Horizon Zero Dawn is the new in-thing from Killzone developers Guerrilla Games. As a PlayStation exclusive, Horizon: Zero Dawn is free from the technical constraints imposed by multi-plats. Guerrilla's no stranger to PlayStation exclusives, having developed Killzone 2 and 3, among the finest-looking console games of the last generation. Likewise, Killzone: Shadowfall, the series' first eighth-gen entry, featured the kind of revelatory visuals that gave console owners a legitimate reason to buy the PlayStation 4 at launch.
Sony is hosting its press conference at the start of CES 2025 in Las Vegas. As usual, PlayStation took the spotlight during the presentation, but not in the way you'd expect.
out of all the titles they could have chosen, those 3 could actually make decent movies.
They’ve tried a Horizon series and it fell apart, what makes them think a film is going to work with a shorter run time.
I was hoping the GoT series would focus on Jinn after the main game.
As PlayStation celebrates its 30th anniversary, let's explore the best PlayStation games Sony has to offer.
There's too many games to choose from
No Metal geat solid 1,2,3,4?
No Resident evil?
No Silent hill?
No Midnight club 3?
No NfS Underground 2?
No Final Fantasy?
No Burnout 3?
No Dragon quest 8?
No Days gone?
No Ace combat?
No Tekken/Soul calibur?......
just from the top of my head
PS1 era was full of great RPGs, PS2 was racing generation i would pick top 200 and even that would be just a fraction.
Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered brings a fresh new coat of paint to what is one of the best open world games of the last generation, but what has exactly changed under the hood?
Looks much better. I really like the upgrade to the character models epsecially and the robot dinos too.
Not worth the money. It isn't like remastered games going from PS3 to PS4, or 360 to Xbox One. Sorry, but those jumps in graphics were extremely noticeable.
Horizon ZD is the next exciting big thing in gaming.
I might have to get a PS4 Pro, anyway. Though I'm still quite upset about the exclusion of 4K Bluray. I bought a PS2 because of the games and because of the ability to play DVDs. Same with the PS3. I already own a PS4, which plays bluray and the same games.... and I don't own a 4K TV yet, anyway.... I changed my mind. I'm going to wait. PS4 Pro was going to be the catalyst to get me to buy a 4K TV assuming I could play 4K blurays(I'm a huge film buff), and I really don't want to buy an Xbox.... I suppose I'll be waiting until another release or PS5.
I'll definitely be picking up this game, though.
One thing i did notice in that pro footage presentation is a big use of fog to cover lack of decent draw distance.
