Maradona vs Konami: The footballer gets payment of image rights issue

Am no fan of Maradona but if Konami want to use him in the game. Then they need to come to an agreement with him first before using his likeness. It's common sense.

Konami responds to Pro Evolution Soccer 2017 lawsuit reports

Konami: There has been media reports about “Winning Eleven 2017” (Overseas name: PES 2017 -Pro Evolution Soccer-) using unauthorized players in the game, but we are using the rights correctly according to the agreement with the Licenser.
