BioShock Remasters are affected by ridiculous port issues, here is how you can fix most of them

2K Games has released BioShock: The Collection on the PC and owners of the first two BioShock games have received their remastered versions for free. Unfortunately, though, it appears that those remasters suffer from some issues that affected the original games. Thankfully, PC players can fix most of them.

Bioshock 1 runs great on PS4 from my experience.

They need to enable streaming on ps4. Video's all blocked

Ozmoses3191d ago

yeah that shit freaking sucks and makes absolutely no sense at all... all the games have been out for years...

they won't even give a reason why they blocked it...

only way to bypass it on a PS4 is if you stream using a external CC like the El Gato HD 60 hooked up between your PS4 and PC.

I'm about to get a capture card and capable enough PC and stream that way.. with all the overlays and stuff from TwitchAlerts and Open Broadcaster Software...

The internal PS4 streaming abilities are good for testing the waters and stuff. but it is very limited and you run into problems like this..

just get a CC and PC and turn off HDCP in the PS4 settings and then you can stream everything on your PS4... even the XMB main menu if you wish hahaha.

I had a strange feeling they might have issues on PC so I went with PS4 version and it looks and runs just great.

Pjuice3192d ago

Strange feelings lol. It's free on pc. Plus the graphics aren't even that much better than the old pc version. Basically this was for the console gamers that got the lower graphics to begin with..

Perjoss3191d ago

Ok maybe it wasn't a strange feeling, it was a choice based on this being handled by Blind Squirrel who are not a 2K studio.

This feels like a dumb question, but how do you access Bioshock Infinite on the digital edition for PS4. I can't seem to find it anywhere.

It's 10 years too late for a BioShock film. The world of Rapture would have been perfect for a film. It's actually a good candidate for proper utilization of 3D, for increased depth rather than bullshit popping out of the screen. It could really show off the underwater city that way. But BioShock as a brand is so irrelevant these days that a film just doesn't make sense. Especially considering it would need a big budget and top notch effects to really take advantage of the IP.

gold_drake323d ago

i agree on the bigger budget. all the cgi they'd need for the background.

but i think it would work better as a show. a movie would be too short to establish the story

TheNamelessOne323d ago

Netflix greenlights anything, so that shows me very little faith in the project. Enough to just crap something out as they're, more and more, known to do.

badkolo322d ago

its where b movies go to live, its run by democrats , dont expect anything good from netflix

Knightofelemia323d ago (Edited 323d ago )

I'll laugh if it turns out to be better then the Borderlands movie
