Driveclub wipes the floor with both of them, not even close.

C-H-E-F3143d ago

I was just about to say they need to put DriveClub on there too it will show what the POWAH of teh playstation is capable of truly lOl.

However, Project Cars is pretty decent.

Kurt Russell3143d ago

Project cars runs 60fps where as DriveClub doesn't.

Movefasta19933143d ago

Lol @ them disagrees.Driveclub's devs get booted and people still think graphics make racers successful.

Kurt Russell3142d ago

Am I wrong? I am confused; has Driveclub been updated to run at 60fps now?

Off topic:

was watching Forza Horizon last night on Youtube Need for Speed used to be open road tracks before coming open world crap. miss open road racing in need for speed.

They need to reboot NFSU2, and do EVERYTHING in that game, that will truly resurrect the franchise.

Also, I'm not sure if you've heard of this game, but it's called Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero, this game was on the PS2 and the PS3 version was only released in Japan, but this game here, lawd jebus I loved this game. I remember my older brother hated me racing with automatics, he said it was "gay" and I was "cheating", so when this game came out he quickly switched the controls to manual transmission and told me the game only had stick shift racing, it wasn't until a few months later when I went into settings that I found out it was a lie, but by then I liked driving in manual every since and never turned back lOl.

However, Regarding Forza, I don't like the Horizon series much, I like the other one. I've never played the series itself, but the presentation of the other one seems more like Gran Turismo than this one, this one "Horizon" seems to be too arcadey... which is good for some, different strokes for different folks.

I've never played Horizon either. but the spirit of the game remind me so much of old root style of need for speed. (open tracks)
as i was watching (Youtube) i said to myself Hmmmm, the ol days of need for speed. i started out with Highstakes buddy of mine used to beat me (was new to racing) as time went on i bought the game practice daily. we bet who would win i tell you it was a Challenge to beat this guy. later on bought Hotpursuit 2 ,Underground 1 ....I only wish Underground 1 had cops, instant reply as hotpursuit 2 has. pick up Gran Turismo 3 Apec it was on from there. Grand Turismo 4 was not good, Gran Turismo 5 was a step up but 6?? return to retail.

i'm good with arcadey games.........well long as it is Need for Speed (old style) no rubber banding, no always online,no night time only driving mess.

Wow High Stakes, yall never raced for pink slips? my brother and I used to race for pink slips all the time. Ahahaaha good old throwback, It's amazing how older games from back in the day are better than what we have nowadays although we are told the tech is better. I remember this game called Street Racing Syndicate (SRS) on PS2 straight epic game. lOl but I definitely agree I miss games of that era. It seems like Sony stopped caring about racing as much as they did in the past. perhaps racing never did sell that much? So they just dropped it, we get like 4 racers a generation now. lOl. it's pretty pathetic.

SonyWarrior3143d ago

project cars was ok but got boring quick since every thing is unlocked from the start so theres no motivation to really go through the career

Jamaicangmr3143d ago

Why does ProCars look so blurry? They both look bad but i don't remember ProCars being that bad.

Master of Unlocking3142d ago (Edited 3142d ago )

Thank gawd these 2 games have better engine sounds than Gran Turismo 5 & 6 (well, in the case of Assetto Corsa it's highly debatable), because in the visual department they barely hold a candle to Polyphony Digital' last gen outings, which bears testament to PD's strength in creating fascinating car modellizations and visually compelling circuits.

Cool.
Add PSVR2 support to ACC and I might play it.

ApocalypseShadow768d ago

Same. Good sales. But if they are smart, they'll release a VR update on console for PS VR 2. Get more sales. More money.

TheColbertinator768d ago

Impressive series and well known for being challenging

ChiefofLoliPolice768d ago

Jesus really? Damn I didn't know Assetto Corsa was that popular. Now that I look at the sales numbers and the sheer about of mods for the PC version I guess I can see it now.

Obscure_Observer768d ago

Really impressive numbers.

There´re more racing simulators fans out there than most racing games studios acknowledges.

Father__Merrin768d ago (Edited 768d ago )

Wish AC1 was at least one X enhanced but it's only sold a lot because of its price
