I'm a Souls guy and I even clicked on that, LOL.

Hopefully finishing The Witcher 3 one day and its DLC. I made it to Skellige but I saw a million "?'s" and it overwhelmed me. Great story. Great missions. Greatest side missions probably ever for me in a game. Love the game.

That's kinda how I explain the game to people that haven't played it "the side missions have better stories than a lot of entire games". I just finished it recently (finally), it's easily in my top 3 favorite games of all time now.

Witcher's the game I play when I get mad at Soulsborne games for whatever reason.
Witcher 3 also plays something like a long running TV series complete with filler episodes. It makes damned sure you're completely caught up and almost feels like it's designed to be played off and on, even between games.
