NHL 2k9 Demo Review

This week PAL PS3 gamers got 2 demos one of these demos was NHL 2k9! I wanted to try this out before I tried the other Demo out.

Once you hit the main title screen after a short music intro, press start and you are able to choose between 2 teams Detroit Red Wings (My favourite team!) and Pittsburgh Penguins! Both teams just competed in the final of the Stanley Cup, with the Red Wings coming out on top! Always back to the review!

While the game is loading up, on the ice you will see a small little intro, which I thought was a nice touch.

I won the first face off!

I got comfortable with the buttons very quickly, they was laid out to my liking and was very pick up and play.

As the game goes on, I’m checking away as many people as I can, the checking system has improved since the last NHL 2k which makes a little bit more difference.

Shooting seemed to be tweaked a little as well, no more pucks flying off the goalies, when you know that wouldn’t of happen, scoring was a little tough but I managed
