Here is your first look at Duke Nukem 3D: World Tour's “True3D Rendering” mode

A few days ago, Gearbox revealed the 20th Anniversary Edition of Duke Nukem 3D, Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary Edition World Tour. This Edition will feature an all-new “True3D Rendering” mode and IGN has shared a video, showcasing the game running under this mode.

Nope, doesn't look like anything was missed.

"To be honest, there aren’t many differences between the original and this “new HD” mode (other than some additional lighting effects, some extra filtering and better aspect ratio scaling)."

Well, everything now has a 3D model.

Go back to some old video's and you'll see that pretty much everything is just a 2D image that always faces the player (although here even the models are doing that so wtf?)

With that said, I can see why you didn't see any real differences. Really makes me wonder what the point was? Why not just remake the graphics completely?
