Very interesting. This game might get delisted soon

AnubisG1668d ago

It is a possibility. Isn't the digital only future wonderful?

TeamIcoFan1668d ago

The defenders will retort with "IT JUST MEANS FUTURE PEOPLE WON'T BW ABLE TO BUY IT! OWNERS CAN STILL DOWNLOAD!"

To that I say, give them an inch and they'll take a mile.
Eventually they'll keep those who already own it from being able to play it, and no lawsuit will stop them, just you wait.

sprinterboy1668d ago

This is about a artist not getting paid for his work not the BS you said.

AnubisG1668d ago

@sprinterboy

BS huh? You know that was the issue with DuckTales too and can happen to any game. An artist "not being paid" will sue and the easiest way to deal with it is just to remove the game and in effect no one will be able to get it anymore because an "artist wasn't being paid".

I just want someone other than Gearbox to own the IP, although Valve would admittedly be just as bad.

ChrisW1668d ago

How about EA, Activision, or Ubisoft?

AK911667d ago

Pfft please you know the only true publisher to own the IP is Bethesda, and made by God Emperor Todd Howard

I personally do remember Infogrames in the years prior to merger. They really did have a portfolio that stuck out and I enjoyed. I wonder what value they see in reviving it now though?

Ah...the nostalgia...V-Rally, Hogs of War 2, Driver.

TheColbertinator14h ago

The good old days of Driver and Stuntman. Unfortunately both games are long gone.

FPS_D3TH2h ago

Ubisoft owns the IP now but a new Driver or Stuntman would be incredible
