New PlayStation Move Introduced As PlayStation VR Move Controller Twin Pack

It has now been confirmed that the PlayStation Move wands will be reintroduced with PS4 branding as PlayStation VR Move Controller Twin Pack. In Australia at least, it’ll be available as a pack of two controllers for $119.95.

me too. I thought the move tech was fine but the controller wasn't that great. I really expected a ps4 version. they need to add a way to control movement on it like a touch pad, similar to the steam controller. having to use a nunchuck thing is stupid.

Yeah, I don't get it at all because I would think you wouldn't just need the wand but also the joystick attachment so you can actually walk around.

Thats one of the main causes of Motion sickness in VR, using a joystick to move in game when your body says you arent moving.

Games like Golem are using the HMD to track for movement, you lean forward, the chaarcter moves forwards, lean back (fat joe couldnt resist) you move backwards and so on.

PS Move does get a lot of attention becuase of the precision it has for the games coming out for VR.

Games are releasing on PS4 which support the Move. sure if you care about it you could do a google search to see what. Back in Febuary of last year, There were about 10 games that were supported, two bigger one's being LBP3 and Just Dance. I believe Detroit has move support as well. Then of course, Move has been talked about quite a bit in relation to PSVR....being the standard controller and all.

Not so much that there's anything wrong with it just that nothing I own uses that connection now. Ds4 and my smartphone both use the smaller connection and I don't own any cords that will fit it anymore. Minor inconvenience I suppose.

1. How in that fuck is it a different market, so PS VR is not a Virtual Reality headset? Okay!!! If we were talking about Samsung Gear I could see that. But the minute you say Gaming VR you're the stepping into the ring.

2. Yes LG has a prototype now, and hitting the market fall of 2017, same market as HTC and Oculus. No need to mention the PSVR since is not a virtual reality gaming headset, and is on a different market, right?
By the way what should this market be called? Since is not like it even has a chance to compete with HTC, Oculus, and whoever Microsoft decides to partner with for VR.

Engaget has video doing a testing on the PS VR, Edge did a testing as well and it fully documented what games they tried, the performance of the headset, how long they tested it for, pro and cons. Those are not claims, If I go and test out a product and I give my opinion on it, is not a hypothesis.

Look brother I'm not trying to argue I want an actual cheap way to VR, I tried Oculus Rift, is amazing but ouch the price tag, and then where are the games.

I'm just not happy with Sony at this moment expecting players to pay for additional accessories that could've been simplified for a console (and hopefully Scorpio won't require the same gimmicks).

Let's say if I was a new PS4 owner is absolutely ridiculous that I will have to pay not only for a PS Eye but also for PS move controllers in top of a $350 tag PS VR. And it doesn't guarantee that will be future proof with the current PS4 because I highly doubt that both companies Sony and Microsoft are working on these new shinny machines to be more of a "premium experience" "an upgrade for the hardcore gamer"

My ultimate concern is, what's going to happen when games are pushed towards the Neo, because is going to happen, by next year developers will be showcasing their new games/projecs (or VR available), things they will able to do with Neo/PS4K, almost making it a requirement since the technology will be more advanced and by that time a new standard in console gaming. The whole we won't abandon our original core PS4 or XB1 buyers, is I don't buy it, thus making it hard for me to believe that PS VR will stay relevant with the current PS4.

Im wondering about the separate type of move controllers. People might have forgotten, and nobody is talking about it, but the move controllers have a right-hand wand, and a left-hand wand with a slightly different buttons setup. The twin pack only shows them both being the right-hand side. Does that mean everyone who already has them are going to have to buy another right-hand side anyway? Also, Im trying to be fair, but Sony really failed all the customers that bought into the promise of Playstation Move Controllers, and they didnt support the device. That really burned us as customers. Shouldnt they feel responsible for wasting our money, and instead offer a much more reasonable price for them? It makes absolutely no sense to offer the $499 bundle where you get the Move controllers, camera ($60), and PSVR worlds ($39) in a mega bundle that adds only a $99 increase over the core device of $399 , but separately sell the stand alone Move controllers for $90. That would be like saying the Camera, and the PSVR Worlds game only are worth a combined total of $9, which is obviously ludicrous . It shows that Sony's cost for manufacturing these devices is extremely cheap, but they are completely comfortable with overcharging their customers, and you cant say they had to invest more time and resources into developing them all over again. So where is the extra expense coming from?
