This and Rez Infinite are the two reasons I'm getting a PSVR!

Imp0ssibl33224d ago

I think I can barely play it on a TV...VR would make it too scary for me

ccgr3224d ago

Can't wait to try it in VR!

DarkOcelet3224d ago

Its kinda amazing seeing a AAA horror title being made for VR. We need more of that. Gt Sports, Ace Combat 7 and RE7 for VR is just insane.

I cant wait.

naruga3224d ago (Edited 3224d ago )

these people in Capcom dont f..ing understand a thing about what people asked when they cried to return the series to its roots....i say it again i will repeat it 1000 times...its not only about combat , its the damn whole paranomral-esque character they gave to series along with the trashy RE Revelations 2 (yes i know what devs have said and i know they will idiotically connect it somehow with the a biohazard scenario) , it s the FP camera,, it s the whole crappy holywood movie cliches they massively included in (rednecks psychopaths, cults etetc) like a milion others mediocre games and like milions others crappy movies (yes yes i ill repeat Outlast) .they r a damn lot of things that are wrong about this RE that really make it a completely different type game from which the market is oversaturated to the point of puke.....we didnt asked, didnt want and we already have disgusted these kind of games ...... i say boycott ..its the only thing that will listen

_-EDMIX-_3224d ago (Edited 3224d ago )

@nar- buddy....stop trolling RE7 articles.

http://www.polygon.com/e3/2...

"like a milion others mediocre games and like milions others crappy movies (yes yes i ill repeat Outlast)"

Except if you read what the creator stated, you'll know that actually isn't the case..

"When asked how Resident Evil 7 compares to its horror game contemporaries, like first-person horror games Amnesia and Outlast, Nakanishi said both are great experiences, but they left him feeling frustrated. He wanted to have a weapon, to feel powerful enough to strike back, he said. Resident Evil 7's playable character will have the means to fend off his or her foes"

Sooo continue to lie? Continue to make up that the game is something its not even with the creator of the game months ago saying otherwise?

Soooo who to believe, Naruga or the creator of Resident Evil 7? Lets see....when did you work on Resident Evil 7? You haven't even READ what Resident Evil 7 is bud.

http://n4g.com/news/1947506...

You've basically been saying something on repeat, yet spent more time crying over what you THINK RE7 is, then actually reading what RE7 is. I think its funny that you used Outlast as an example, they very game the creator has stated its NOT like....

How much more about this game don't you know?

naruga3224d ago (Edited 3224d ago )

@ EDMIX man have you read my comment ?? ...read it again and you ill find answer to your retarded reply

TheCommentator3224d ago

I agree with you Naruga, because it's not a return to it's roots any more than RE4 was. Neither takes into consideration what made the originals great, and both will be failures of a RE game.

That said, anyone can have an opinion. The people who thought Saint's Row is better with super heroes in it can hold their opinions just like the people who are into the direction that RE continues to take(from 4 up), but at the end of the day, neither Saint's Row or RE stayed true to their roots. That means that in the long run, love it or hate it, RE7 cannot be a good RE game because it isn't like Resident Evil anymore. At best, RE7 can be a bad RE game that is still fun to play for some people like 4, 5, and 6 were, and I'm pissed off that Capcom even has the balls to say they are returning to the series roots with this paranormal garbage.

Of course it must have a combat system if the game devs really knows what they are doing. If combat is nonexistent then it is just a clone of Amnesia or the clocktower games. I don't like playing an RE game where the only thing I do is hide and solve puzzles.

sanosukegtr1233224d ago

At last a new resident evil with less action.

opinionated3224d ago

Well that's good. That had me worried. I would absolutely love a condemned style melee system. There hasn't been anything like it since.

AnotherProGamer3223d ago

We need a Condemned 3 badly, the AI was amazing and would hide and flank you

One of the best horror games imo

opinionated3223d ago

My favorite of all time personally. That shit was terrifying. No monsters, just dirty bums lol.

Kyosuke_Sanada3224d ago (Edited 3224d ago )

I'm glad that Capcom is finally taking horror seriously however I am still against the execution of using first person mainly because as mentioned before we do have too man first person horrors as it is. If this your cup of tea then I understand fully the reasons to support this but Ill be waiting for the Resident Evil 2 Remake and the recently confirmed sequel for The Evil Within. Also, don't waste your time in saying that "it needed to change perspective" because we all know that it didn't. This was done solely to cash in on the disappointed P.T fanbase, thats it.

Playdead co-founder slammed with lawsuit as bitter row with co-founder escalates

Playdead co-founder Dino Patti is allegedly being sued by his former studio and business partner.
Patti was threatened with a lawsuit earlier this year after he posted a now-deleted LinkedIn post that shared an "unauthorized" picture of co-founder Arnt Jensen and discussed some of Limbo's development. Patti said Jensen demanded a little over $73,000 in "suitable compensation and reimbursement," adding that he had "repeatedly" had such letters over the last nine years.

I love this controller. Feels so nice in the hand. Plus the battery lasts for days, it's crazy.

peppeaccardo1d 21h ago

$100 ?????????????????????????????? ??????????????????????????????? ???????????????

1nsomniac1d 21h ago

Yea the pricing for Nintendo peripherals is a bigger joke than the game prices. What the hell were they thinking!

peppeaccardo1d 11h ago

i mean for a piece of slightly redesigned plastic with the same take of the last few years this has written GREED all over it ! Shame on Nintendo.

OMNlPOTENT1d 7h ago

It's $85. The standard Dualsense is $75. The Dualsense Edge (Playstation Pro controller) is $200. The Xbox Elite (Xbox Pro controller) is also $200. How exactly is $85 so drastically insane compared to those prices?

Neonridr1d 7h ago

the battery lasts like 10 times as long as a dualsense though.

Stevonidas1d 2h ago

Not true; more like 20.

You may commence with your butthurt, ponies.

fsfsxii1d ago

It doesn't have analogue tho, sooo....

Tacoboto1d ago

$85 USD
or $75 at CostCo (same standard price as a DualSense)

Even at $85, you're getting 3-4x the battery life of a DualSense, and it is (by a HUGE margin) the cheapest first-party console controller with Back Paddles.

The thing is, over the past decade, third-party controllers have really stepped up. You can often get better quality, more durability, and stronger performance for half the price of first-party options. Meanwhile, controllers from Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft have become increasingly mediocre, expensive, fragile, and not particularly impressive across the board. What makes this especially noticeable with Nintendo is that they’re surprisingly open to third-party hardware. That openness ends up highlighting just how much better the alternatives are.

Chard1d 20h ago

Name a better controller

Vits1d 16h ago

Pretty much most things by half a dozen of chinese manufactures. Like, 8bitdo, Gamesir, Machenike, Gulikit, Flydigi, Manba, EasySMX, etc.

The exception would be really low tier stuff by those companies... those wouldn't be better, they would be about the same quality. But more durable.

Themba761d 18h ago

Best controller I’ve ever used I even like more than my dual sense edge

UltimateOwnage1d 11h ago (Edited 1d 11h ago )

Having used Dual Sense, Pro Controller 1, and 8BitDo Ultimate extensively, I am pretty much in love with Pro Controller 2. The easy reassignment on the grip buttons is such a big plus, but the soft edge joysticks are the best feeling sticks of any controller I’ve ever used. It’s really an awesome controller. The HD Rumble 2 also finally has some thud and the headphone jack is great with a pair of good phones. It’s worth the slight price increase IMO.

Profchaos1d 5h ago

The pro controller 2 for me has the best weight and size it fits the hand perfect like the duelshock 4 did imo

I actually dislike the duelsense controller because of its size but the features are amazing on it.

Still as for the pro 2 no analog triggers is surprisingly something I dont actually miss

PRIMORDUS1d 17h ago

I have the original pro controller and TBH, I don't use it as much. I'm mostly using the Switch in handheld mode with the Hori Split Pad Compact Controller. I also never use the back buttons to program anything so I will not be buying this one here, so that will be $85.00 in my pocket 😂

Very good dev length for a AAA/AA game I'd say. Companies need to set an aim for this range. 1-2 is too little, I believe 3-4 is perfect. Any more is too much. Games don't need to be these gigantic games full of a crazy amount of content. Just make a good game.

Skate-AK2d ago

Lol. Had no idea who that was, but I will admit they do look quite similar.
