IGN: Weapons of Dead Space

In most sci-fi games or movies, the heroes pack an awe-inspiring arsenal of machine guns, grenades and pistols that can lay waste to anything that comes across their path. But not every person in space is a soldier trained in hand-to-hand combat, nor are guns to be found around every corner on every vessel. In certain situations, you simply need to make do with what you have, repurposing tools as dangerous weapons. In Dead Space, Isaac Clarke finds himself trapped in a life or death struggle against a large vessel infested with Necromorphs — mysterious aliens with a knack for reanimating the dead and mutating them into strange creatures.
