If in the Kvatch Rebuilt mod you could have the castle as a player house as the castle and became the Count of Kvatch. That would have been epic.
One of the ‘pipe dreams’ I’ve toyed with is getting into the actual modding scene. However with all the other projects going on, there’s not been the time. That being said, these essential mods are often enough anyway!

Maybe it is because the game has TWO large projects ahead of it. Given that they tend to release a game every four years we could possibly not see it until November of 2027... I bet they will close the gap to two-ish years, still puts it out until 2021....
Fallout 4 was announced mere months before release. If they don't want to build up hype for Elder Scrolls VI, that is fine with me.
They are probably creating a new engine or vastly rebuilding their current one. This will increase development time. Skyrim remaster is coming to bide extra time for elder scrolls 6 reveal.
