Michigan law passed requiring MediaSentry to have PI license
Small victory for the filesharing: MediaSentry is the hired gun that hunts down filesharers for the RIAA, and the company’s activities have raised the question as to whether it should be licensed as a private investigator in some states where it operates. Michigan was one such state, and has now enacted a law that clearly indicates MediaSentry needs a license.
