Pete’s Dragon Review – Cleveland

Cleveland: I never saw the original 1977 version, a musical no less, in which the dog-faced, pink-winged green dragon was an animated insert in the film. But the cast alone — Helen Reddy, Jim Dale, Mickey Rooney, Shelley Winters, Jim Backus and Red Buttons — gives me a case of the cheese-filled willies from which I may never recover. (It sounds like a whole season of "The Love Boat.").
