PlayStation 2 production is approved in Brazil
Last Thursday (8/28), the Board of Suframa (Superintendency of the Manaus Free Trade Zone), approved the making of the PlayStation 2 on in the Industrial Pole of Manaus.
Sony Brazil avoided providing details about the project, but issued the following official announcement:
"Sony Brazil submitted recently, a project to SUFRAMA to ensure the possibility of investment in the Industrial Pole of Manaus, should decide for the marketing of the Playstation line in Brazil. When appropriate, the press will be notified and informed of the decision company. "
