@Channel I'm sure I'm way younger than you are and I find Nintendo games appealing. Since I'm an all around true gamer I like all types of games like kiddy and mature games I like variety it's in my nature. I play Zelda, Pokémon, Doom, and God of War.

@krypt1983 I'm actually tired of fps games. Halo 5 don't have local coop either since I own the game. You say Microsoft has the best 3rd couch coop What 3rd couch game are you talking about? Short answer is “Because that is how this site's comments work now”. During the 360/PS3 gen, it was mostly filled with 360 fanboys trolling. Now its simply swapped to a lot of Sony biased people and the trolls who just troll. Personally, I've always preferred Sony's PS as my platform because of single player games being my thing. Below I will state individual reasons and whatnot so if you don't really care its time to bow out.

To your point people ignore that all entertainment is subjective. There are things that you can point to as objectively good/bad but the rest is subjective. For instance, BvS was an alright film to me. We all know how BvS discussion goes though. One person says its good then 50 more say that guys an idiot and should be castrated for his lack of taste because BvS sucks a big fat sloppy donkey dick..

Another factor is people are far too impatient with their communication which leads to other things. For whatever reason, they value conciseness over detail and the truth. This leads to most people tendency to go overly negative with things and are confrontational because internet anonymity allows them to be. “Majority opinion is absolute fact" is a fallacy we fall into. This is why every comment section has a trend. N4G has a Sony bias currently.
This leads to the third reason, this comment section is biased. Most people don't comment. The people who do rarely have anything constructive to say. This further leads to further the group bias. The truth is most people don't care enough to engage with trolls and close-minded people not willing to actually discuss things.

I will give you an example of all the things I talked about working together. This really happened btw.

Guy 1 on IGN responds to another comment and says Shaggydog is the biggest of the direwolves in the Game of Thrones/ToFaI series.

Guy 2, who is not the guy Guy 1 responded to, expresses concern that Guy 1 is full of shit but doesn't remember himself and doesn't care to look it up.

Because they didn't care to start an intelligent civil discussion a shitstorm started that swallowed me as well. Either of one of them could have googled it but whatever. So I got involved. I'll call myself Guy 3.

Guy 3 informs the two of the truth citing actual knowledge that Jon Snow's direwolf is the biggest one now. HE STARTS AS A RUNT AND.. BLAH BLAH CITE THE PAGE AND BOOK THE PARAGRAPH AND QUOTE WHERE IT SAYS HE IS THE BIGGEST.

"This information should settle this pointless immature argument thinks" Guy 3.

GUY 3 was....mistaken.

Guy 2 thanks Guy 3 for the info and then...insults Guy 1 for making shit up.

Guy 1 says he simply misremembered and then...calls Guy 2 a lazy cunt or something along those lines.

The comment chain continues for weeks with them responding to each other vulgarly every three hours then every day then every week before finally stopping. Because Guy 3 made one comment he gets to see to idiots arguing over what dog is bigger in a fictional TV/Book series for weeks. Meanwhile two other people have an intelligent in depth discussion and grew as people using the same IGN comment section which Guy 3 also received because he made one comment that actual added relevant facts to that discussion as I did for Guy 1 and Guy 2. The result was the exact opposite. Both thanked me and continued their discussion civilly even when they disagreed. I learned from reading this conversation. The first one was funny as hell to me though

I loved the God of War series, I dont quite understand why so many turned aganst the games personally. At the time of each release the games offered an incredible spectacle with fun gameplay and a pretty good, swords and sandles story.

Having said that, I think the change of direction was needed as the games needed freshening up. Really excited by what I saw of GOW at E3, I think this game is going to be amazing.

Oh please don't get your hopes that this game will be long. that demo only took like 8 minutes of gameplay. Oh boy that is less than 1 percent!!! Seriously? cause if that's the case then the game willl be around 8 -10 hours long to be completed. Which is normally what the previous god of war games have been.
