Why are so many people tryna convince others not to buy this console?

If u already got an og just sell it an less than half a weeks pay to get a new faster console thats better in every way and a new bluetooth controller.

Every1 gets different $$$ in life but its not a lot of cash for one of these honestly.

If ur a gamer and like the look of the xbox one s then why wouldnt you?

Then what sell it again in a year? 3 console in 3-4 years.. Wow.

DARK_WOLF3191d ago (Edited 3191d ago )

I never said anything about selling it in a year. But if u wantd to u can sell ur og xbox and upgrade to an S for pittance and have a better console for the next 12 months that doesnt disconnect controllers and runs faster with a bigger hdd thats 2x faster due to the sata III connection.

Ud be stupid not to upgrade tbh unless u just dont care about gaming very much

Oh and just so u know, lots of ppl have more than one xbox in the house. Multiroom and gamesharing, saves in the cloud n all that.

@darkwolf_nz you missed his point...When Scorp comes out you can use the exact same argument to upgrade again

DARK_WOLF3191d ago (Edited 3191d ago )

I didnt miss anything.

People upgrade $1000 cell phones every year or two for minimal improvements for the exact same experience.

Why is it a problem when it comes to upgrading a 3year old console that costs $299. Its a seamless experience and everything transfers to the new console so u arent losing anything.

OG xb1 has flaws that are fixed and then some with xb1s. Even if its only for 1 year til scorpio its worth the TINY amount of $$$ required to upgrade

Have u ever had a controller disconnect mid game on xb1?? I have. Im upgrading to the S for that reason alone but the rest of the improvents are just awesome!

Il be keeping my gears 4 xb1s along side my scorpio.

I guess alot of people arent into gaming as much as others. The xb1s is a no brainer for me. Awesome console!

mark_parch3191d ago

yes but its all relevant. whatever extra you spend now on an xbox one s you will get back when you sell it for a scorpio. if you keep your og xbox one it will be worth nothing when scorpio comes out. so it actually makes more sense to upgrade now

@DarkWolf_NZ "I guess alot of people arent into gaming as much as others. The xb1s is a no brainer for me. Awesome console!"

I mostly game on PC and get consoles for exclusives. Xbox 1S has none anymore so it is a no brainer for me not to get it. OG Xbox had its purpose for me but the S and upcoming Scorp has none.

I agree thou One S seems to be a great console and def a nice upgrade of the OG box. If it still had exclusives I'd pick one up

If you want one buy it's not a hard concept...if it is that big a deal you have the wrong hobby.

"Should you buy an Xb1 S" , if you feel like getting one then yes , if you don't feel like getting one then no , hope that answers the question

Man, I like the idea of this game, but the character designs are absolutely repulsive. What were they thinking?
