Oculus Rift VR coming soon to Minecraft

Little did we know, Minecraft is now making its move to Oculus Rift and everyone’s dream of witnessing the brick graphic spectacle is finally coming true. As revealed by Microsoft, Minecraft is being updated for Windows 10 in order to be supported for Oculus Rift. Being officially released in a matter of weeks, the update will give experience of Minecraft users on VR. So, if you have a Oculus Rift by your side, this is the next best thing coming to VR. If not, this is surely something you should plan on having in the future.

A bit of VR experience can already be witnessed by players who have the Minecraft Pocket Edition on their smartphones. However, the whole Minecraft thing is what we truly want. It is most likely going to be a totally different experience to what we have been used to for the game, but nonetheless it is definitely going to be awesome. The ability to “literally be” in the environment of minecraft has always been the dream of minecraft fans like me.

The move is also a big one considering the fact that is VR support for Minecraft is among the first of major titles that are making this shift. So I guess it’s time to save some bucks for that Oculus Rift. Who knows games like Counter Strike:Global Offensive, League of Legends, Overwatch and Dota 2 might also jump into the hype train.
