Now this is one of the new fangled Xbox 360 controller that supposedly has a drastically improved D-pad. Since BBQ and I were sitting in front of the front row we asked if we could hold it for a sec and try it out. The Major handed it over to us and we got a few seconds of hands on time. It seems like the D-Pad is raised a bit more but still offered the same amount of resistance. We could not tell if it was a radically new improvement since we were not playing a game with it. I can't really tell if it is worth an upgrade until I try out some Street Fighter II , Castlevania Symphony of the Night or Ikaruga with it. It is a little too early to tell if I can finally ditch my MadCatz made wired controller and if this is going to cut it for hard core 2d gaming."
