Warhammer 40,000 is a popular table top board game and has spawned a variety of different video games in the past. The real-time strategy game Dawn of War was highly praised as having great graphics, user interface and sound but the story mode was considered weak. Then came Warhammer 40k: Space marine, a third-person game developed by Relic Entertainment that blends shooting and melee combat. Once again, the visuals and gameplay were praised whilst the storyline was seen as being rather bland.
